A couple weeks ago, I logged in to my 360 and went to launch Waypoint. I saw a message telling me a new version was available, and I pressed ‘A’ to download it. Ever since then, when I launch Waypoint and press Start, I see “Receiving Data”, the spinner makes a half turn, and my 360 freezes solid, requiring me to manually turn it off and back on. I went through a bunch of troubleshooting options with the @XboxSupport Twitter account, including: deleting the app and redownloading, clearing cache on the HDD, deleting and redownloading my profile, installing my profile/Waypoint on a USB stick, booting with and without the HDD. Nothing worked.
My nephew, who is staying with us, has his own Xbox, and has the exact same issue.
Is there any hope?
