Remember in Halo2 when we had clans…. And ranked clan playlists. Now we don’t even get ingame viewable stats!
Halo 7 will just be a store!

Older halos had clans, or fireteams you could join.
Its sorely lacking in infinite
Add in a terrible lobby system and a terrible u.i. for the game in total.
Its not conducive to socialization.
Then you have the actual team matching issues.
Im all for people partying up in any gametype.
The problem is full team parties dont match.
There were multiple posts about this on the old waypoint.
For whatever reason, team matching was disabled in mcc.
So youd have, say 8 teams, full stacking against randoms in btb on mcc. All night.
And they never seemed to play against each other.
literally every person with a mic in this game I encounter is a jerk. They complain, yell, talk incessantly about nonsense, or just flat out sabotage the game on purpose. I make callouts and they tell me to shut up, etc.
It’s the community more than anything. The people that play this game are mostly toxic.
To be fair h3 only had that for ranked, not social mm.
He’s complaining because his matches are unfair. A 12 stack or 8 etc, dominating those searching solo is the most unfair thing ever.
Ya and it sucks that you can’t have 4 of your friends in the same squad nor can you create a squad!
PEACE!

Side Note: 98% of the I play BTB. Only 2% I play close quarters. I play custom games only in Halo MCC. I can’t play custtom game in Halo Infinite cuz it’s all screwed up. ![]()
It’s my favorite game set, why do you ask? I mean, never takes long at all to get into matches when I search.
Waiting for my new gaming headphones though since I somehow broke my current set. But I don’t want to play PVP at a disadvantage were I can’t track people by sounds, most notably of their foot steps and gun fire.
The problem though is that they choose themselves to solo queue. Getting bad teams is a side effect of that and not putting forth any effort to find friends yourself to play.
That’s not people who are playing intelligently and forming parties before hands fault. That’s his and his alones fault. He’s going to unfortunately have to learn to cope.
there are no people that I know who play this game, how is this hard?
I get that you’re super lucky and have a small army of Infinite loving friends, but of the dozens of human beings I can comfortably call friends, 1 will sometimes play with me when he’s not busy with his family.
How, and I have to repeat this again for the 100th time, HOW is this hard for you to grasp?
I go into BTB, go super positive most of the time, but can hardly ever win games because the random people that play this game have the collective IQ lower than the best KDA on the team. Its infuriating as a system because the reason is always the same: The game is forcibly matching random nobodies against teams constantly.
You would think people on structured teams that are playing against noobs or randoms would also kind of hate it, because just stomping people getting maximum Kills is not fun. For me, most of the fun comes from matches that are close, matches that are up to the second, that is fun.
I hate having to kill players that I can tell aren’t familiar with the game or just not good players, but also just want to have fun, but find themselves in a match against much better opponents, I’ve been there, people that spend way more time than me playing these games. I think it’s possible to create playlists for randoms and playlists for teams, but the problem is the player base, are there enough players.
Something needs to be done though, random players against skilled teams are almost always a foregone conclusion.
This is nothing more then an excuse. Your not even trying.
I have tried. I ask people if they want to play Infinite and they literally laugh and say they deleted it.
Really so now we are complaining that there are too many teams in Big TEAM Battle and we wonder why 343 does not listen to the community. I love BTB yes has had some great close games and some where I feel my team are bots when they are not this is not a 343 issue this happens in all shooters
There are so many issues this game legit has but too many teams in Big team battle is not one of them.
I mean…having a game mode with 24 players…there’s gonna be quite an increased chance of teams/parties playing in the games. That’s kind of a thing with all games that have matches that have a high amount of people. And sometimes all you need is one fireteam or even just a pair of players who can communicate and work together to make a difference.
I’m kind of curious as to how you know if you’re against premade or teams or not. Other than maybe sharing the same clan/service tags, I don’t really know how to tell if a group of players is actually a party of friends working together. If there is a way to tell that I don’t know, I’d like to know, especially if its enough for this claim of there being so many teams now.
Other than occasionally playing with friends, I’ve been soloing in BTB since the start of Infinite’s multiplayer. Its still my favorite mode, I still have a lot of fun in it, and sometimes I have good, close games games and sometimes I have roflstomping bad games but so far that’s just the nature of BTB and video games in general. I have fun with it regardless though.
I agree 100% but I am Halo Traditionalist 100% and always will be. In all of my maps I make damn sure that there are only “TWO TEAMS!”
I made sure nobody can change teams to the Gold Team Or The Green Or any other Color Team. If a person tries they will instantly die when they spawn in a different color. Red Team Or Blue Team ONLY!
Hope we get Forge soon so I can fix some of these stock maps to play Halo Traditional Way!
PEACE!

There is a line on the scoreboard that shows linked teammates who are partied up
If you mean the scoreboard that you can bring up during games or the one you can look at at the end of the game, I don’t see any lines.
If I go into the Social Tab, bump over to Recent Players, then I can see the lines. Going by the couple examples of games I’ve played with this knowledge in mind, I’ve only seen pairs of players linked up which isn’t unordinary to me.
well lucky you, you never see teams at all, you must be playing midday or something
Afternoons/evenings/nights mostly, as that is what my work life has dictated.
I would say that I’ll be keeping an eye out from now on but honestly I probably won’t. If this ends up showing that some of the roflstomp games I’ve had are due to a large premade or just groups of legit friends playing together…that won’t be showing me anything new. Plenty of Halo games in the past have led to stomps due to clans/teams making up the opposition and there are plenty who have just had too many bad players on one team and too many good players.
My experiences with Infinite’s multiplayer - namely BTB - and my frustrations/elations/wins/losses are still rather consistent with Halo in general which includes just having bad games with bad people and good games with good people.
Look, I’m not good at this game and I’m going +20 and up almost every single game because almost nobody that plays even knows how the weapons work, in my completely anecdotal experience.
If anything these people should be trying to party up with ME.
…Okay? shrugs I get a rare invite or two but people generally want to play by themselves or people they know. Whatever they think is more fun. A lot of the time just playing to win doesn’t matter to them - or at least not enough to invite randoms.
I’ve noticed its been suggested numerous times here already, but maybe you can be the one to invite people you think are good or just had a good experience with. I’ve sent messages to Warthog drivers for their nice driving when they gave me some good kills or defending a fleeing flag carrier and sent a couple congrats to those in LSS when I’ve had a good, final duel with them or just thanking them to make sure that one camper wasn’t the one to win the match
Never really invited anyone to play with me but that’s because I prefer to go solo or play with friends.
If you want to play with teams or at least people who will communicate, you can go to Discord channels or forums or anyone else and simply invite people to play.
