Hey 343, would you please add a feature to the game that would allow us to download custom maps we spent hours or days on in the originals? I play mostly customs and would have to work for weeks to get all my maps remade.

There is the feature in game because I created a map and when I selected it , it said upload and share. I just can’t find where other maps are shared. I tried searching on the Internet but nobody seems bothered about them.

Right now 343 has more important things going on right now, like getting the game to actually work? Hold your horses and wait your turn.

I’ve spent the passed half hour looking for the section with that in it and I can safely say there is not an option for it whatsoever. I agree that there should be one, back in the day the most fun I had was in custom games. 343 should also consider adding a ‘343’s picks’ section or something to substitute the ‘Bungie’s favourites’ section we had in Halo 3. RHS has a point although it was rudely explained. They are putting all their effort in to fixing the matchmaking servers at the moment but that doesn’t mean they can’t work on what we want afterwards.
I have been making custom maps for myself and friends alike, Mostly st this point there is a label of File-share under every profile for the Halo franchise since Halo 3.
I may suggest looking up custom games on Google and do research on who made them to get the profile responsible in designing them…I dedevel have been working on a few things getting to know the settings. I would imagine the other people would be doing the same. I am still learning the annoying part of making a map by going through the settings.
i hope they add the option soon, cuz i think we all had alot of fun in custom maps.
i remember when i was in 15 the most fun i had was in custom games with my friends, cousin and brother, was playing this on the weekend i remember oone of those weekends was to stay up all night into the mornings play custom games playing omega’s journey, fat kid, jenga, ninja, fortress and the sequals to those maps i wish we can work as a community and try to bring those maps back bringing in those magical moments back from our past into the now … if only

bring back Fat Kid and Cops and robbers maps like I AM LEGEND MAP PLEASEEEEE
There should also be a way to re-download maps that were created earlier on the ol’ bungie.net. Or just a way for us to download our old fileshare! I find it really irritating that this option is not here as a standard! I think this makes the game a whole lot worse than it allready is!
i have the remake of Husky RAID for halo4 of tmcc. Also an altered version of SIMPLEX and so on. Finally some maps of my own like MAZERUNNER based on the original film structured like a circle with 8 zones and the safe zone at the center of the map.

until they add that feature if anyone has a map already made or in the making video it and post in on YouTube or make a Facebook page of halo custom maps and post it there. That way others can build but must give that person the credit. I’ll make a page now if there already isn’t one.
I’m still trying to figure out how to download Halo 4 maps through my computer. Thanks to 343, all the links no longer work
Through the May Update, 343 added a fileshare. Just go to your roster, select your nameplate, and there is a new option called find player. type in the gamertag and it will take you to their fileshare where you can download the map. If anyone wants amazing halo 3 classics + some halo 2a customs, feel free to type in SpiffyNoob and look at my fileshare.
It would be great if the could just add the halo 3 file share system
