Watching the HCS was brutal for 343s image.

I know a lot of people are on both sides of the fence as far as the state of the game but just watch the HCS recaps and see that these major issues are present even when its a LOCAL LAN set up. . . If they have these issues on such a small scale “locally” how do they expect the worldwide situation with hundreds of thousands of players to respond? The code/slip space engine needs to be rewritten or reworked, PERIOD…
When you’re showing off your new game during a championship and they players IN the championship are having problems and the whole wolrd is watching, you might want to work on it 343. Literally everyone can see people dying behind cover, melees not connecting even when they make the noise and “damage” indications, and servers just falling apart…
Come on 343, swallow the fact that the game is crap right now, and MOVE ON TO FIXING IT!!! Quit ignoring the obvious and get back to business, if you want anymore of OUR business.

Thanks,
Everyone in the Halo community

I think it’s great that the game is buggy and crashing during live HCS tournaments, since this adds a ton of extra pressure on 343, when they or other players try to deny the severity of the issues that are absolutely present in the game. Having even non-players able to see the desync and crashes, offline, local LAN, after 343 made a whole long post explaining server lag to us like we are stupid, well, it’s not online server lag, and the game is still very unstable. No more excuses, 343.

I know right, its sad they keep trying to play the Halo community like we have never played an online game before. Like come on 343, we know what lag is and this ISN’T lag. . . If they don’t fix this game somehow they better just shut 343 down hahaha. They literally only have one title to manage and they can’t even seem to do that…

I must applaud the casters and hosts because their professionalism is incredible.

During the first HCS I wanted to view a match, got hungry and went to cook/eat and came back about an hour later. The teams still hadn’t managed to play a single round, yet the casters were still talking.
