Audio quality is crap, but he made a lot of good points. I’d like to see the Bungie babies try argue their way out of that one.
Decent vid, agree on most of his points.
Change is good providing it’s beneficial.
That was a great video.

I bet this video is some butthurt halo 4 343 fanboy who is mad that his favorite game of all time only has a 3,000 player popualtion. And he probably considers Halo 4 to be a breath of fresh air even though it literally almost killed halo.

And you are a butthurt Bungie fanboy that loves basking in nostalgia, and hates change.
I don’t think anyone can deny what he proposed in this video very nice way for me to end the week with some positive feedback from a halo fan.

I mean I guess I like Bungie but I wouldn’t call myself a fanboy. I don’t really bask in nostalgia I just like how classic halo plays
Now the guy in the video he is such a fanboy that he is making videos about it. That is a fanboy

Even though I agree with him about Halo needing to change, which is just common sense, I don’t think calling players with different opinions stupid just to make your point. It doesn’t really make your point it just makes you look like an -Yoink-…

He’s not a butthurt 343i fanboy. The guy is stating factual stuff about the future of Halo, and that change isn’t always a bad thing.

Lemme guess he says that sprint is nessecary for the future of halo because 343 told him so. He just ignores the fact that since the introduction of new things such as AAs and sprint Halos popualtion has gone from hundreds of thousands to a few thousand

NO NO NO NO NO NOOOOOOOOOOOOO SO I would be deeply appreciative if you would refrain from speaking.!!! takes a breath

This clown refers several times to those with an opinion different than his as ‘retardss’. I think that is tasteless and immediately removes him from being a person of any influence or sway.
In fact, the impression I got from that video is that he is an angry teenager who can’t quite articulate his thoughts well enough and instead resorts to dismissing any counter arguments as stupidity without actually addressing them. The last thing we need is more of his kind of people spewing their nonsense no matter which side they are on.
In terms of the arguments that he makes, the key seems to be that Halo needs to change to remain successful. Making such an argument demonstrates clear ignorance of recent history. Halo 4 was, with respect to longevity, a commercial failure. There is no debating that. The goodwill resulted in great sales figures but I’m talking about longevity, which is also what the guy in the video is talking about. You may recall that before H4 was released we heard the exact same types of arguments, with the majority concerned with the changes (or the continuation of some features such as sprint). Those not in favour of them (I.e. the majority) were proved 100% correct following the analysis of Xbox live data from the first 90 days of Halo 4’s multiplayer.
I mean, the community response to early glimpses of H4 is an exact and perfect parallel to what we’ve seen regarding H5.
Also, on the aim down sights point, I find it ironic that this guy refers to those anti-ADS as stupid (and he may have also used that other word here as well) when he, as so many have done, completely fails to understand the key objection to it.
Smart Scope is literally, in terms of how the gaming community would define it, visually ‘aiming down sights’. Noone is saying that it functions exactly as ADS does in COD but I think it is ignorant to in any way say that it is not ADS. This visual change, as evident from its placement on the default left trigger, was clearly implemented to cater for gamers used to games where ADS was a feature - I would argue that the main game here is COD. This means that we have a change to a visual feature which everyone who had played the Halo franchise was familiar with and was happy with - literally 0 people have complained about it - for the sake of attracting gamers from other games. In what way is it then unreasonable to complain against that change, especially when any hope that 343 actually know what they’re doing or know how to balance the interests of existing and potential Halo players is long lost?
All these young whippersnappers are not content with the perfection that you always were; so now here comes the change.
If it is not broken, don’t fix it.
Also this guy called me stupid way too much.
He said Halo 3 was just a “reskined” of Halo 2.
I played Halo more then most of you combined and can tell you, you are all wrong. It is the social Halo players that are killing the game…
RIP Halo 11/15/2001 - 11/11/2014
I don’t know, I watched about half the video and closed it, didn’t really leave an impression, didn’t really say anything I haven’t heard before. If anything it was just pointlessly fanning the flames.
> He said Halo 3 was just a “reskined” of Halo 2.
This I remember, and this made me smile. Halo 3 is way different than Halo 2.

^^^ What that guy said
We should all join a custom game and let me kill you one by one, then think of a sick armor ability that would have prevented your death, and allowed you to kill me. Lets then ADD that to Halo 5. If you are not good at the game and that is why you want change… go make maps in forge or something.
