Here’s the Halo Wars remastered trailer. Not too much in this one. If anyone can tell me the difference between this and the original game, I’d love to know.

It’s just touched up like Halo 3 was in the mcc
I’m very impressed. If 343 and creative assembly actually pull it off this has the potential to be the best halo story since Halo 3, if not EVER. However I was hyped for Halo 5’s story but that was a massive let down so I’m cautios but very excited at the same time.

But then why call it a remaster?
The cut scenes in this game are going to be amazing!

Most likely it will be slightly improved graphic/framerate for gameplay and controls being integrated for PC play.

The game being optimized for PC is huge, especially since (in my eyes, anyway) RTS games play so much better on PC than on consoles. I’ll gladly take Halo Wars on PC!
In any case, to my knowledge, we haven’t seen any in-game media for the Definitive Edition at all, so we can’t make assumptions just yet. I would be surprised if there at least wasn’t some sort of visual upgrade.

At the very least being ported to PC give the modding community the oppurtinty to make improvements and mods on the base game.
Though it depends how stupid or greedy Microsoft decides to be. The haven’t been historically very friendly to modders, one of thier biggest downfalls as a company.

Yeah, I unfortunately wouldn’t get my hopes up when it comes to modding support… But then again, who knows? Halo PC/Custom Edition were extremely modder-friendly, and even Halo 2 Vista was nice for mods. And look at ElDewrito, the big mod of Halo Online made to be more like Halo 3, just another example of what the modding community can do.
So even if it may not be officially supported by 343i, we may still see a nice modding community.
Does anyone else think that this was one of the best Halo trailers we’ve had in years?
It did an amazing job of showing off the cinematic elements of the game, while giving us a great backstory for the new enemy (Not just Atriox, but also his Faction).
Great job to the team that worked on it!
