Glad to see they’re finally getting the love they deserved from start, even keeping the other coating to those who may have liked it being dirty and rugged. Hopefully they’ll release some information on the Red Shift Armor Coating soon, I believe that one was mentioned to be fixed, guessing it’ll get two variants as well so that those who enjoy what we currently have will still get to use it.

Watchdog never needed to be bad, lol. But it was… not great.
I am still rather curious as to why they decided to make it look “dirty” in the first place when it was clearly clean originally…
It’s a nice touch that they really were listening but also made a solid decision to keep the original version rather than possibly annoying people who prefer it. I’m one of those people, not that I will ever unlock it.
Happy to see Watchdog finally getting the love it deserves, however there are now rumours that the Neo varient will be for free.
If this is the case, then it’s just another clap in the face. If it’s not, then I’ll be happy to wear this new coating.

Technically no, but also yes. Every season the background changes a little.
I wish there was like, a grime filter and scratch filter you could adjust on coatings with like, opacity and stuff. Of course that would be a small step towards having the ability to edit coating colors and use them as a template.
But on a real note, I’m glad the Watchdog coatings are finally being addressed for those that vocalized concern.
Anthem had this for customization, it was called ‘wear’. Anthem did a lot of things right and it deserves more praise.
I think the most recent Doom games even had something like this.
