Wasps Vs Banshees

The Wasp is a superior aircraft when in comes to air to ground assault. However it gets torn to shreds when going toe to toe with a banshee. Any tips on taking down a banshee when piloting a Wasp?

The Wasp’s maneuvering capability is pretty nimble-like and has the ability to hover in place. I’d use those two features in conjunction to out gun your Banshee opponent, preferably getting behind them.

Is the wasp really better at ground assualt? I see banshees pull off 30-50 kills but I’ve definitely never seen anyone do so with a wasp. Could just be my luck I guess.

actually if you use it right it can be a very volatile vehicle, (though I only used it once in wz I took down 60-70 prometheans with that thing in ff)

Well, Don’t pick fights you can’t win. The banshee can out maneuver and overpower you pretty easily. If you really need to take one down then I’d either keep my distance and whittle it down slowly ideally without it figuring out where you are or get in close and unload and hope you can stay on it and keep it’s weapons pointed away from you.

Volatile? If by volatile meaning you can either get blown up in seconds or make it last 10 minutes, then yeah it can be volatile.

But OP, you are comparing a level 3 REQ to a level 6 REQ. If there are two pilots of the same skill flying each, the banshee is going to win every time.

I was talking about taking down AI Banshees. How good is it at taking down Banshee raiders. I tried it once, but got blindsided.

aahhhhh I see… not very good IMO… Although if you are only at level 3 REQ’s fighting enemy Banshees then it may not be a bad use of 3 REQ’s if you can maneuver it well

Well one thing for sure, don’t take on any ai banshees with the wasp since it has low health and the banshee has enough speed to catch up with you
