Its probably a bit too soon to ask but is there a possibility that we’ll get a Wasp variant in the future? Maybe an ONI variant that’s packs heavier artillery or something. It’d be awesome to have something like that.

There’s a chance they’ll introduce a variant or two. If they didn’t then the wasp would be the only vehicle without one, which would be a little weird. Unless it performs well enough by itself or something along those lines
They have done like so many for each vehicle and would be weird without one.
There are so many variants of the scorpion,mongoose, mantis, warthog, gauss warthog, rocket hog, scout hog, and covenant vehicles. There’s even the temple variant of covenant vehicles being released in the update

Well, it is confirmed that we will get more content. I know for sure that the Forge team will be providing new assets for the Forge sand box.
I hope we will get more Wasp variants, but I first need to get my hands on the Wasp itself!
