Wasn't so smart.....

When halo 4 FIRST came out I could agree that spartan ops was a good a substitution for firefight, but now that they are not supporting spartan ops it’s kinda dead. The replay value spartan ops only last for so long. But I do understand it’s probably wayyy to late for them to make dlc of firefight. Sadly all I play is war games

The this is Spartan ops could have been better. In game damage values so enemies wouldn’t take to many hits, a balanced number of types of enemies, having more involvement and importance to stuff, dialogue. Checkpoints would have been good as well for solo play.

And hey, trying to play Spartan ops but I get blown up by the UNSC with little warning that the empty look out tower is going to get hit when I’m around. Also, the lack of ammo and underpowered forerunner weapons.

Spartan Ops was also to further the story however. Firefight got old to me after a while. Perhaps they will have both in 5.

What really got me was in Episode 5, Chapter 1 (Spartan Miller), the one of the few times where it actually gives you responsibility to defend something (In this case two Satellites/transmission thing?) you aren’t even penalised at all for letting them be destroyed.

The game just moves on, “lets just pretend it didn’t happen, lol”.

eehh, was probably meant to happen anyways. Trasmissions are always a come and go thing.

Season 1.5 was the real kick in the nuts for me. New areas! Yay! Oh wait, they are starting to repeat again.

Oh BOY was that disappointing.

I played quite a bit of Spartan Ops when it first came out. I completed all the missions, but my service record says I only completed 49/50 and I have no idea which one I’m missing. Going to replay the whole thing once the skulls are lifted. I really liked the concept of Spartan Ops. I just don’t think they implemented it correctly.

Haha Let’s have them run through the level, but backwards this time. Or let’s have them on the same level, but let’s add some crates and turrets to make it seem different.

One of the things that I did enjoy in Spartan Ops though were the Red vs Blue Easter Eggs. Loved searching for them every week and hearing the dialogue. Again, great concepts.

When parody dialogue is better than the real dialogue…yeesh.

Oh man…sometimes I get entertained way too easily. facepalm

"Hmmm yes add a little crate here, a little crate there…

…Oooh yes, rotate that crate we added before by 45 degrees

…Now what am I forgetting?..Ah yes scatter some obligatory ammunition boxes

…aaand we’re done. BOOM, new map.

I think we’ve outdone ourselves this time lads, Chuck E Cheese’s is on me."
