Today was the best day i’ve had in a long time, in fact, it was the highlight of 2011 for me.
I got a bunch of free stuff, i played with a bunch of people from waypoint, i’m staying up later then i normally do, and my cat did some of the cutest stuff ever.

Was today a good day for you?

I think the only thing that would make this better is if there was a halo 4 trailer tomorrow.

Would have been infinitely better if I got a Reach GonD code so I wouldn’t have to worry about my disc drive Yoink!ing up all the time, but all in all, still a pretty awesome day.

Playing halo wars right now, i forgot how fun it can be.
Day is now even better.

Hell yeah it was! Got out of class at 10 AM, found an easter egg on Installation 04, and came away with 4 free avatar awards and a free digital copy of Halo Wars to complete my Halo game collection.

Can’t get much better than that, Halo-wise.

No, i got less than alot of people.
If you wanted it so badly then maybe you should have tried harder, after all it was “first come, fist served”

Nope. I stayed at my Step dads for half the day, by the time I got on Waypoint, it was too late, and when I tried to join Halofest it kept on removing me. 343 day shouldn’t be first come, first served. It should benefit every player, Waypointer or not.

Not really. Spent the day trying to get a anniversary map pack and never got one.

Wrong. I found a Longsword hidden outside of Installation 04. And here’s my defense against “vid or it didn’t happen”: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pmAWbeIvhLg.

It’s all speculation whether or not it’s an actual easter egg. Only a few people have said it might be “waiting to do a weapon drop”, but the theory doesn’t make much sense since

  1. I was playing Arcadefight. No weapon drops.
  2. Why would it be the only thing in the game that doesn’t despawn when it isn’t in use? Every Covie drop ship and Pelican despawns once it goes out of sight as to not take up too much memory. Even weapons despawn after a few seconds - minutes of inactivity.
