I’ve come around to that, some of this is still shocking, but not all that shocking really. If that makes sense. That waypoint thing that people have been pointing out was removed is very interesting.
Yes. 343i has created a problem and sold the solution, the battle pass is a unreasonable grind for most people, but they sell you the ability to skip it with real money.
Very transparent and quite terrible.
yeah, and with the Reach one you buy the problem and solution.
Absolutely. Its a dirty trick where they intentionally release the progression system so botched that it feels like a relief when they make it not as bad as it was, but still worse than H5. They will continue to boil the frog until we are paying to press buttons on our controller eventually.
Let’s go down the rabbit hole.
Same reason the game didn’t release a year ago. No possible way it could have released a year ago, and they knew it.
Also seems to tie in well with Xbox 20 years doesn’t it?
I’m curious about what exactly they did with their extra year.
If the game is in this state now, what was it like back then?
There’s no way it was going to be launch ready last year. I can’t see how it could have been.
I can only think they wanted the backlash, so they would be justified in delaying the game.
It seems they are now, again testing the waters.
It is extremely disappointing that Halo has gone down the live service path. This encourages me to not spend money, and I can afford it.
