Every youtube vid that has to do with halo 5 has so many comments saying the campaign was the worst of the series, the story died at 3, etc. Hopefully everyone who likes it are to busy playing h5 so they won’t eclipse the hate comments. It’s getting annoying like people to criticize about the most irrelevant things.
There was far more hate when Halo 4 came out lol, most people actually enjoy Halo 5. Nothing to talk about on the forums if you like the game, forums are mainly for criticizing and suggestions.
Halo has had this much hate since Halo 2, we’re used to it by now.

I agree until that last word. There hasn’t been any suggestions on these forums since they started. Its all been bash, and hate of people who think there opinion matters on a multi million dollar franchise

They are clouded with nostalgia. I’ve been a Halo fan since 2003 and I love H5. Sure it has it’s flaw but whatevs.
They are unable to move on and it’s easier to whine and complain. Plus since 343 (Who is made up of diehard Halo fans) took over, people hate them since they aren’t Bungie. Thing is, a good chunk of Bungie members who worked on Halo left Bungie.
343 has done a good job keeping the universe alive and well.
Halo 4? That… Thing should never be mentioned. The hate for halo 4 was much worse. The bolt shot and the lame love story was enough for me to stop playing it after like 2 months.

Thats a relief, I wasn’t active on the forums during Halo 4’s release, and Halo 3 I was to new to the franchise to notice these things.

I liked H4, but the bolt shot… dear God. If the game didn’t have custom loadouts that would be one thing. But since sticky nades, plasma pistols and boltshots were part of loadouts… yeeeaaah…
It’s all relative. It was the same for 4. It was the same for Reach. And yes, it was the same for Halo’s 3 and 2. When Halo 6 comes out it will be no different with people clinging onto 5 as the golden child in comparison to 6. Happens with every Halo release it seems.
Most of the complaints I’ve seen aren’t irrelevent.
