Been playing recently and the whole games seems to have changed. online 3v3 and 2v2 has become such a sweat fest and such a toxic rush game even in team war, 40 minute matches have dropped to 5-10 minutes.
I last played before xmas and the game was more chill the rushes were not as hard core and easily dealt with. But now it feels as if the whole meta has changed and its not just me my mates feel the same as well. i also noticed the ai in custom games plays better as well and performs rushes so much better as well not.
Im just struggling to adapt some heroes seem to be more potent as well.
Its all just heroes flamers and marines, but to top that off people seem to be able to fund huge armies with just one base and tech up at the same time within 5-7 minutes. i used to be able to deal with rushers and just play normal but now im just at a loss, like what’s going are people just sweating like no lives now or has their actually been an update.
For example i had one match where at the 5 minute mark dude (serina) rocked up with a full army of vulchers and kodiaks cleaned me up. all i had were marines and flamers and just got tech 2, before that pointy had already had a few skirmishes with his marines and flamers.
Before i get the whole "get good’ bs im not bad at this game, before xmas when the game actually wanted to work i never had a problem, now matches are 2-3 minutes full sweat rushes with sizable upgraded forces. im just getting outmatched in ways that almost seem not possible and certainly so before xmas.
