Back when I had Halo 4, I used to play SWAT all the time and the only gun I would ever use, was the magnum. I would get easy cross map headhot kills with it. Was it OP, I can’t remember.
Yes, I believe it was, possibly faster firing rate and accuracy on par with the dmr.
No. Not as OP as HCE pistol.
In SWAT, every weapon is OP. 'cept the plasma pistol. that was terrible. lol
In SWAT the pistol was nice because it had a faster firing rate. Having said that, i found it a lot easier to hit my first shot with a DMR or BR. If you aren’t gonna hit your first shot then a pistol is good. otherwise just use whatever you’re most used to.

I could never land shots with the DMR or BR for some odd reason, but when I had the magnum, oh lord. Even if you were running to the hills, I’d still get ya.

That’s interesting. I use both a lot in any game type, so especially in Swat I loved them I often struggled to hit shots with the Magnum in fact. I guess a lot of it comes down to what you’re used to.

yea, I only used the BR, but aimed for the body 3 times, then the head. I guess it felt weird aiming for the head first. And I could not aim properly when using the DMR, still have no clue why, and it was only Halo 4, Halo Reach, fine, Halo 5, fine. Don’t know why. But the magnum, I would use it to finish weak enemies when using the AR or when they were too far away for the AR. I guess that’s why I only used the magnum in SWAT.
