Will the campaign actually be treated as a live service at some point? Right now it looks like there will be zero additions to it in the first year of the release, which I think makes the live service thing false advertising, no?
Do they really think the campaign is worth $60 as it is?
I think the campaign is going to be added too, but because 343 is so poorly managed it will turn into an epic fail just like the multiplayer has. We’ll probably get our first DLC in 2023-2024 and it will be three hours long.
They’ve really said nothing about campaign post launch. I don’t recall them sell campaign specifically as live service.
Sadly I expect they’ll probably try to charge us for additions.
I am starting to expect no Campaign DLC at this point.
At this point I’m imagining the Buck Rogers opening but with Master Chief and the progress through time showing snippets of the road map, future seasons, maps… Lots of microtransactions until at some point we reach the far future where the story actually has an ending.
Even the name of the next campaign was already filtered and the 1st campaign of Halo Infinite reminded me of the 1st mission of Halo CE when you go to recover the marines, it is also confirmed that Atriox returns, whom Escharum has respect for, without mentioning the Eternals. For me there is future content.
