Was the BR really improved or was it down-graded??

Since the December Hot-fix was released I have been playing BTB Games non-stop and with having the BR used throughout the whole game. I can’t help but feel like it went from bad to worse. I have played Halo 5 since the Beta and Alpha Release, and the BR has had its up and downs but i guess to me the BR with the amount of vertical recoil its been given (I’m not used to its vertical recoil), It makes it harder for me to perfect kill and i miss more frequently now as well which results in a trade kill or me losing a stand off.

The more pronounced vertical recoil is probably throwing you off. Try aiming around the chest / neck area so that the last shot will be towards the head.

Nearly all the changes they made were positive…

> In response to player feedback around “inconsistency / randomness” and the BR feeling “clunky”, further tuning tweaks have been made: - Bullet spread has been removed - Zoom/target acquisition speed increased - Moved the weapon model slightly closer to the player when zoomed to provide a clearer view - Increased vertical recoil - Rate of fire slightly increased - Damage slightly increased

The only thing on there that could be considered even remotely negative is the addition of vertical recoil, but that is much better than the bloom they were using pre-hotfix. At least now its predictable and can be controlled by higher skilled players. Maybe elaborate more on why you feel that it’s worse. A opinion with no support makes for poor discussion, which is kind of what a forum is all about.

Maybe I just got bad at Halo then… I apologize for this rather “dumb” forum.

I think it’s better than the weapon tuning one imo

I agree. It’s much better now than it was directly after the weapon tuning update.

There’s an active weapons tuning thread pinned to this forum- you can discuss this topic there: https://www.halowaypoint.com/en-us/forums/6e35355aecdf4fd0acdaee3cc4156fd4/topics/weapon-tuning-discussion-thread/7f0a3900-9da3-4e29-8e90-8d2ab0699dfc/posts
