Anyone know if Jeff’s voice was toned down in the final release? It was a little over the top with him going all Navi and never shutting up. He’s totally boss, but too much of a good thing is, well, too much of a good thing.

I may be one of the few, but his voice over playing constantly for everything the player does, doesn’t seem to bother me.
I dunno if anyone noticed, but in the haven map tour he sounded a little quieter during that gameplay at the start. Maybe it was just me I don’t know.

He didn’t. His voice is awesome.
I love Jeff, but it’s just way too much in Halo 4. He speaks up every time someone farts.
I LOVE THE ANNOUNCER IN HALO 4!
His voice is always awesome, but slightly less awesome in Halo 4.
In Halo Reach when a player was infected Jeff screamed:“INFECTED!”
But in Halo 4 its: “Infected”. Its like he’s talking to me, I don’t want you to talk to me, I want you to scream in my ear Jeff!

This is equivalent in CoD games where you get that cheesy rock music and 500,000 points every time you aim down the sights

I’ve never had a problem with him before, but he talks far too frequently in Halo 4. If there isn’t an option to turn him off, I shall compose a blank .mp3 and put it on repeat while I play multiplayer. Hopefully that will work.

I don’t think you can nerf an announcer. You can’t make him weaker. He’s just too awesome for that!
