When the Guardian fires it’s EMP weapon at the end of the game is the world attacked supposed to be earth?
I thought only Reach and Earth had that many orbital MAC cannons?
I find it difficult to believe that in four years they could build up a new colony that quickly. I thought the Covenant destroyed most of the UNSC colony worlds, invaded earth and killed a massive percentage of the human population? So, is this earth, or does the UNSC now have lots of Reach style fortress worlds?

They all look the same so I don’t know how you can tell, and I am actually rooting for Roland to be a good guy.

Okay, I was being a bit fanatic with assuming it was Cairo Station haha. And I also hope that Roland remains on our side, but after the scene where everyone completely ignores him, and Lasky basically tells him to shuddup, I wouldn’t be surprised if he took Cortana’s side.

I too am rooting for Roland. Also, Roland is still a fairly young AI in their life span terms. Only about 2-3 years I believe. Cortana was able to recruit AI that were near or past their normal life spans and already feeling the affects of rampancy. I am however worried that our old friend BB from Kilo-5 may join Cortana. As for the planet in the background, I think it’s safe to assume it may not be Earth, for one good reason, during the final mission Cortana asks “Where is Infinty?.. Why is she so hard to track down?.. No matter, I’ll find her.” Cortana is an almost infinitely smart AI with a galaxy spanning processor now, otherwise known as the Domain. She probably would’ve assumed to look at Earth first to look for Infinty. Of course she could have just not seen them and it was Earth. Just saying my theory

its not a “maybe” all Orbital stations like that House a MAC Cannon. thats why their Called. Orbital Mac Station’s and Earth has a Grid of them however alot of them were destroyed or heavily Damaged during the Assault on earth during Halo 2.

I don’t know… But Roland seems to actually use logic and seems helpful. But you never know.
But if it was earth, why was Infinity there? Shouldn’t it have been around Sanghelios after dropping off Osiris? Are we to assume Infinity immediately ran back to Earth?
