Was Jerry hook forced out for trying to keep shop prices low?

Ah but here’s the thing about digital goods and products especially for game cosmetics: You aren’t actually trading tangible goods. They are in the power position of adjusting prices and value of bundles in order to entice sales, but instead of enticing people to spend, they are instead driving people away from spending. All because they don’t wanna offer as much as they should have to fit the price tag.

The rarity thing is also a joke. They think they’re Gucci or some fashion brand, and are trying to sell cosmetics like seasonal clothing collections. 343’s marketing team is too in over their heads to realise they are dealing with gamers for this product’s demographic, people who are the most nit picky when it comes to product quality. They think they can just pull the wool over our eyes for this one.

Unfortunately, that does not seem to apply to children who see a skin or a cosmetic and go “I NEEEEEEED IT!”
Why do you think Fortnite is so monetarily successful?

I predict that REQ Packs will make their return in some fashion.
After all, the Rarity Level applies to ALL cosmetics, Battle Pass or not.
Which means that for players that missed out on BPs will be able to probably still get BP cosmetics by way of a lootbox system.

If REQs make their return, they better be like in Halo 5 Garbageians, since that is the only game I can think of where the lootbox system had NO DUPLICATES when it came to cosmetics.

You are not a lion. None of us are.

That said, it’s possible, @Jablome117 .

What?
It doesn’t matter if the “sheep” take the bait (your verbage also shows that you don’t know nothin’ about fishin’ boi.).

343 Industries just still going to do what they do best.

Make something that is an attempt at Halo, but not fully.
343 wanted to make a Space CoD so we got Halo 4.
343 wanted to make a mobility shooter so we got Halo 5.
343 wanted to make Fortnite so we got Halo Infinite.

If he was he’d never be able to say anything about it without getting absolutely blasted by MS and probably getting roped into a legal battle.

They’re “experimenting” to see what they can get away with. They don’t like the price range the player base has suggested, so they’re back to playing games with the prices.

The amount of work people go into trying to turn nothing into something here, should use that energy towards more important things.
