So I truly enjoy playing halo 4 its probably my favorite game i have. But i have a major problem with it right now. I feel like i wasted money on maps that i never get to play. I blame two groups! first its you 343 you need to make new maps a priority. I don’t see why you cant make a play list for ALL dlc packs not just the majestic. The second group i would like to blame is the community its self every time a new map comes up everyone votes for Ragnarok or exile do you really need to play the same maps over and over and over again. i have played 10 games today and only played on two different maps. ways to fix this 1 make a play list for all dlc 2 make it so dlc come first in the vote because that stupid ti breaker chooses the first voted map instead of a random one and finally just make them more frequent in all games types!
Reach had similar issues with DLC showing up. The majestic playlist was previously a DLC playlist but I think many wanted majestic achievements so it was put back to majestic to enable for players.
I’d like an all DLC playlists but the population was pretty low. It would be interesting if they offered a massive discount on all DLC when buying the championship bundle. They could also give away all the older DLC months after the paid for early adoption. I’d be quite happy to pay for 3 months advanced access and then DLC becomes free after that and required for all players to play online.
Any of those would help DLC show up more often but this issue existed in Halo 3 & Reach before Halo 4.
I received it with my Halo 4 Limited Edition, so yes.
With that being said, the lack of a DLC playlist is still a major disappointment (and one of my few gripes with the game).
No it isn’t worth it. I virtually NEVER play DLC maps outside of specific DLC playlists making it completely useless.

Crimson was a little bit bad.
Overall I think it was worth it. If you didn’t get the season pass get the Majestic Map Pack. That’s the best one.
Also, I got the limited edition, so the Season Pass came with it, and I loved my copy. Despite what everyone despised about this game and the 60/100 dollars wasn’t worth it I believe that 343 released a great first package that they are now improving on which is even better.
They say they have learned from their mistakes which never blocked my liking to this game and I will be getting the Limited/Legendary/Collectors edition of Halo Xbox One.

I put money on 0 on roulette the other day and won so I decided to finally buy the map pass.
Haven’t had the opportunity to play halo since I downloaded it though 
I say if you have £20 that you’re just going to waste anyway (like me) then go for it!

343i doesn’t like small playlists and that would be a very small playlist. The only people who could play it are people who have all three map packs. By rotating them you only have to have the current map pack to play the pack in the current playlist.

DLC maps can only be offered if everyone has the associated map pack, and I don’t think that many people have them. There was a big problem in Reach with DLC map packs not being available for play. I suspect that made a lot of us leery about buying them in Halo 4. The only one I have is the Castle map pack, and the only reason I have that one is that I had 400 Microsoft points that had been sitting in my account for over a year, so it only cost me $5.
I feel like it was a waste, and I probably would not have bought the LE if I knew the maps would be such low quality. Landfall was great, Skyline is okay(Overplayed in Doubles), Perdition plays BTB alright, and the rest are just bad.
Certain Affinity worries more about how the map looks than how it plays.
Agree with the OP, I posted a similar topic a few days ago about DLC maps never showing up in other playlists…
Its sad really…
