There was a slight hint in one video. The interviewer mentioned factions and Frank almost confirmed it but not quite. He said it was important not to reveal the reason why there were two colored Prometheans and that the game will explain why there blue Prometheans and Orange ones.

I watched the leaks but only to make sure the ending did not suck (thank you BiowEAre for making me this paranoid).
We were told in an interview that there is a time in the game in which peometheans seem to become less mindless defenses and more driven by some other purpose
Some are speculating that that is when the Didact gets involved

This, or the Blue Prometheans are simply the original coloring of the constructs, as well as the Knights armor platform.
Perhaps once the Evil steps into the picture they then are converted into a more menacing Orange/Red, which to Forerunners generally stands for Evil or Corrupt.

Tell me about it, Mass Effect 3’s ending was simply so dissapointing, I expected so much more and much more story for the Reapers in general :/. Now Bioware has announced a Mass Effect 4… if I was them I wouldnt even bother honestly.

This was another theory that was proposed by several others as well, and its a smart one honestly, have you yourself read the Forerunner Novels?

That’s what I’m thinking…it would kinda make sense or maybe the lue ones are controlled by cortana…long shot I know but still lol who really knows…unless you watched the leaks

Nah 
no leaks for meh, I avoided those at all cost since I was hyped enough for the game, surprises as it was :). I’m not sure, I could see Cortana having a part in some of it though, her Rampancy is something that interests me alot at this point since shes such a important character.

it does not matter. The BSN is mostly blind to it all and still thinks Bioware is still Bioware while under the banner of EA. I am going to wait and see how DA3 turns out, if it becomes their 3d strike then I’m done with them really.
