I mean the population is rather low, but honestly I can’t blame people for giving HALO 4 up there are so many issues that I run into all the time that I’m not even looking for like the spawn system, random gaping holes in the map that show the backdrops on spartan ops and campaign. And don’t get me started on multiplayers sandbox.
So my question is was HALO 4 a flop, and why do you beleave that it was or wasn’t?
IMO yes this was a flop, maybe it’s just a $60 Halo 5 beta but I’m still pretty upset. Honestly there are too many things to list why it’s a flop and quite possibly an incomplete piece of work.

> The numbers don’t lie; what you remember about the Halo 3 player counts is wrong. Those times when Halo 3 had over 200,000 players online were rare occasions. Good luck trying to find a reliable source that shows a day, over one year into Halo 3’s lifespan, when Halo 3 would have had over 200,000 players.

> I used to use that population argument back in the days when Reach was released. But a matter of fact is, I got introduced to the cruel reality, the reality that Halo 3, in fact, didn’t have an exceptional amount of active players over a year after its release. Not compared to Reach or 4.

I’m not calling HALO 4 a flop i’m asking do you feel that it was a flop, with the population declining so rapidly.

Well we won’t really know until all the DLC is released. However, the removal of KOTH is not a good sign. If this trend continues Halo 4 will have the worst population of any Halo game. The population has already declined rapidly.
Based off the name and the fact that it’s between $60-$100 a pop, yeah, when compared to past games, it’s a flop. It made $ sure, but it didn’t really set the world on fire.

Almost every game is at least $60. Fact is that it is the second most played game on Xbox Live, it’s no flop. The game is still doing well and will get another boost this Christmas.
