Seeing the sunsetting plans I went to grab it to round up the last few achievements I have left. When searching, it looks impossible to find. Tried the xbox website and the xbox one market place. I can’t find a listing anywhere that will let me actually buy the game. All of the extra content is there, but the core game is nowhere to be found. Am I missing something or was it delisted?
Nevermind, I completely missed the line of the article stating they got pulled. What a terrible move.
All Xbox 360 Halo games are having their servers shut down in December 2021, so delisting them now makes sense.

They delisted them per internal policy.
They should have given notice before delisting them like they do with the Forza games.

That’s my stance, personally. Even a week or two would have been appreciated. Gonna have to go bin diving at a gamestop and hope to find a copy to wrap up a few remaining achievements.

This is super frustrating… why wasn’t there any notice given for the removal of these titles? Like the Forza Horizon titles?
Can you let us know if the games will be going free with games with gold? I would have purchased these titles if I knew they were being discontinued ahead of time.

Why would they make them free when they’re being shut down in a year?

The issue more is having a digital copy for the discless systems.

That makes sense, I didn’t think of it that way.
For what it’s worth, I was able to track a used copy down at Gamestop for $.99. They can’t ship online and it was over a half hour to drive there but there’s a few floating around.
Yeah maybe dont release an all digital console and then start de-listing your first party games ffs
Fair enough if there planning on shutting down the servers next year, things change, times move on. But why cant I buy the game digitally, it doesn’t cost to them to sell it, I assume it would make money? Halo 4 was the last halo i hadnt bought. Fuming.
As a company I get why they were delisted from the 360 store, but why on earth did they think it was a good idea to delist single player games such as CEA & ODST! I’m in the camp that is super annoyed there wasn’t any notice before they where pulled.
Well we all sadly know 360 is gonna die in 2021 all we can do is keep playing and hopefully do a last stand on our xbox 360’s problaby like the "Noble 14 " but you know the Noble 14 are legends

The 360 itself isn’t dying. Only the 360 Halo games are being shut down, the 360 will still have support.
