I loved almost every minute of my Halo 3 days.
I hated almost every minute of my Halo 2 days, and I hated the community.
As for back to the glory days…that’s a tough one. I’ve got alot of fond memories of Halo 3. 4’s got some big shoes to fill in that regard.
Giving me back my trusty Assault Rifle is a plus, not having it be a piece of unusable crap like Halo Reach’s is another so it’s already off to a decent start.

The thing I liked about H2 was the clan system. I’d be able to find a legit custom game to play in on the fly (tower power ftmfw). The actual MM I didn’t care for, tbh. Though, It was probably because I was a scrub back then and had a <1 KDR.
I think the golden days were both Halo 2 AND Halo 3.
I voted yes. But I would say Halo 1 - 3 were all spectacular.

I didn’t play Halo 2 online; I didn’t have Live back then.
But either way, I consider 3 to be the Golden Age, because there was so much happening with regard to playlists and community events, as well as all the Map Packs coming out over a stretched period of time, making it last for quite a while.
Also, Halo 3 was more refined and polished. Halo 2 had a lot of issues, like BXB and whatnot.
If halo 4 was like halo 3 but better, that would be the glory days of halo mm. Instead its a little bit better than reach, and for many halo fans that just doesnt fly.
H3 for me, easily… so amazing. H4 has the foundation but there’s so much crap piled on top of it there’s no way it compares.
Halo 1 was great, Halo 2 was not.
