So, I was looking through my followed topics and I ran across a post from December 22, 2016, and it was about the ranking issues and from looking though it made me realize that there are people who just like me eventhough i am still plat from the time and still now. I was able to hold up in it ill post my op and some of the responses.

Wow dude. I seen some of your games. You had unranked players on your team,and on champs team. One low level rest champs.
That’s how they can go against players like you. They have the lower guy in party enter lobby. It’s sad but happens everywhere no matter what game or even what platform you play on. When that happens just back out of lobby after the game.
Also looks like you all held up pretty good in some of those games

I didn’t check your games, but if what scooby said is true about you doing well then your CSR might be higher than a legit platinum player which could be why you’re getting matched with higher level people more often.

I hear ya OP. Have you tried using focus in the search engine? It may help…or maybe try playing with a team, but ya when your playing against people WAY higher then you all the time, it’s really annoying. In Killer Instinct, when I played ranked mode, I was ALWAYS being put up against players that were ranked way higher then me, and it honestly just made me stop playing ranked mode. I really hope this doesn’t happen to you in Halo 5. I do think for whatever reason the 10 placement matches always puts you against really high ranked people, which is annoying! Heck, the 10 placements match in general are IMO, but I won’t get into that.I hope things turn around for ya man. Play some social from time to time too, it helps.

There is a possible way to make that happens, which is why something should be done about it. Maybe the OP got “Unlucky” like you said, but that shouldn’t justify the reason of platinum players facing champs.Having the rank queuing locked to “certain ranks can only faces certain x ranked players” (like you mentioned) or queuing based off the player with the highest CSR could perfectly solve this problem.
