For everyone who bought the Limited Edition package, you got a Prime skin for the Recruit armor. Now, because it was only LE, it’s not supposed to be as good as the Limited Console, where you got the FOTUS armor (which looks awesome). But now the only reason I want to use anything I got from the 20 minutes of inputting redeem codes for the armor and beyond I got in my package is to show that I actually did buy it. The armor is quite boring compared to the armor anyone can get by leveling and via commendations. I know Halo is about equality among all players, and having something better than most because you paid more is “wrong” (especially the whole specializations shenanigan). But is it wrong to want just a little more satisfaction from paying $100 for one game?
I bought both the LE game and console and happy with what i got out of both of them. The LE game was LE i found that was finaly worth the money. Im very happy with what we got
I agree, perhaps they should’ve provided something exclusive to both limited and limited console buyers alike.
The Recruit PRIME skin does kind of suck… but the rest of the stuff in the LE more than makes up for it, IMO.
Still, it would’ve been cool if they gave us something more unique than a skin for the default armor… like the Master Chief’s Halo:Anninversary armor. That would’ve been awesome.
I do find it funny that they put it in the game as an easter egg
Well I like it, in fact I think I’m using it now.
I can see where you’re coming from though.
Yes, somewhat the fact that the armor skin isnt very noticable doesnt help.
I bought the LE to prepay for all of the map packs, and get a nice case.
I don’t give a damn about weapon and armor skins.

ANOTHER THING:
It’s a nice case, but everytime I put the disk in it or take it out, it’s so firm I am scared -Yoink- that the disk will just shatter.
Of course people, like myself, are disappointed with the armor.
I hate taking the game out too! It always scares me.
> I hate taking the game out too! It always scares me.
Me too! I can’t grasp why they designed it like that. I mean they must test the products they’re going to use, right? I thought the case would have been like the Halo Wars LE case, witch I am quite fond of.
I agree i thought that we’d be getting some real exclusive armor set or one which you unlock at a high level, but no we get a skin for the armor you start with what a waste…
> Of course people, like myself, are disappointed with the armor.
Lol, Mr. FOTUS.
I was somewhat disappointed with the armour, yes, but I never had any intention to use the Recruit armour anyway, so it’s all good.
I bought the Limited Edition for the physical goodies and the War Games Map Pass included in it. I’m quite happy with it overall, without a doubt.
We paid a premium for a rubbish in-game armour, pointless Avatar items, extra Specializations that are already available to standard edition users, a FUD download that can only be launched via Halo Waypoint on the 360, which requires an online connection, and forgettable other items. For the money and lack of good content, a physical Blu-Ray Disc should have been how FUD was delivered to us.
This Limited Edition set cost the same as Halo 3’s Legendary Edition and I don’t believe for one moment the price is justified based on what you get.

The specializations are one plus. Average users won’t get them for a while.

I believe Reach was 150 LE and Halo 3 I think it was still more than 80 for H3
H4 LE was 80
You get avatar items, EARLY acess to specializations that you don’t get until after SR50 and completeing either Operator or Wetwork. so I should say SR70 or 80 I haven’t gotten that far. FUD on waypoint now thats lame I expected a disc for sure. But most people who would be buying LE probably have Gold, no about Waypoint…etc, not really a super big deal besides the lack of disc. I don’t know about all the others but I read that the other random swag is pretty cool, so maybe you just don’t care that much about the universe…but, I’m sure it’s badass. It was only 80 for the LE which is good for a Halo game.
I prefer the Prime skin on the Recruit helmet to the default skin. Recruit Prime is currently my favorite helmet in the game, and I am fully satisfied with it.
