Warzone is plagued to death by hardcore geeks with no life whatsoever farming Achilles. It is the most frustrating experience I had experienced as a gamer for the last 28 years or so. I don’t want to get on a team, I don’t want to go full-tilt mode, I just want to relax playing a video game. Being a lone wolf has always worked out fine for me in every other Halo games, but now this is too much. When you’re born into a generation where you needed to complete games BY YOURSELF and Multiplayer was only a fun, side bonus, this new mindset in gaming of always online play with 16 players team that you NEED to be part of unless you want to get spawn-kill all day long is just incomprehensible for me.
I bought the game to have fun and relax, not to be forced into a tournament every -Yoink- time I jump into the game. This so infuriating!
Can’t wait for firefight so those of us that just want to chill out and not be having our buthole clenched all day long playing Halo, can FINALLY catch a break.
I know I’m not alone.
I completely agree although there are times that I like to play competitively but most of the time I like to relax and just play with some friends.
Wow, just found that on another tread. That guy says it all:
> Intentionally drawing out the game for a collection of polygons not a single other person will give a flying butterfly’s spillings about when the next hard to achieve armor gets out or in about two-three years when the next Halo in the main series is released, by trapping and making the game insufferable to the opponent.

> Achilles is to me, the armor of shame.

> Sure, the person saving the opponents from a drawn out game of respawn screens is surely “griefing” by ending the match as fast as possible.
It was a guy called Naqser that said this, for his credit.
Pretty much nailed it!
You’re not alone. I think it gets deeper than just getting steamrolled by organized parties. I have the same issue on the flip side when I get matched with a really good team. In either case, the outcome is incredibly one-side.
It’s more frequent that I’m on the losing side, but in either case the game is less fun when either side is getting decimated. I wish there was a better balance to the match making.

I wonder if it would be possible to code it in a way that people in a team in-game faces other squads? And when the game detects you’re alone, that it would tend to match you with other players without a team. That would be the best solution to end this plague.
Let’s face it, it is a serious problem right now.
I’m perfectly fine with losing all day long, but spawning into a never-ending hail of grenades and gunfire is a waste of my time. The farmers on the forum have made it perfectly clear they feel justified, so it’s up to 343 to come up with a solution. I’d start by removing unlimited grenades from the Mongooses. I don’t know who thought that was a good idea.

Farming was more of an issue in Halo 3.
The population of Halo 5 is lower than that of Halo 3 so you will run into parties more often if you don’t play with others.
It’s a fault of the party restrictions.
I just get on a play warzone to have fun, have not had a problem with spawn killers yet
