I recently had like 3 consecutive matches in both warzone and warzone turbo in which, even though we had REQ energy to spend, no one could spend it in REQs and change loadouts, both teams only had ARs and Magnums the whole match, I don’t know what causes this glitch to happen, but certainly is more fun and actually more balanced. The most interesting thing was that, now that no one could spawn any vehicles or power weapons, we had to scavenge power weapons from the dead AI to get some advantage (It was really funny how long time it takes to take down a legendary boss using only starting weapons).
So, what do you guys think? Did any of you had this experience before? Would you like to play a warzone mode like this?

I’ve experienced this in Warzone Turbo earlier. I didn’t really like it though, however some BTB AR + Magnum starts would be nice.
Agreed, while it’s annoying to not have access to my reqs it’s still kinda fun when everyone is running around with nothing but AR’S and pistols, makes for some interesting and refreshing gameplay

Would be cool if, say there was an entire separate Warzone variant gamemode, where there is no REQs. Capturing bases would not only be viable to get points, but to get different weapons. Say, Home Base always spawns a BR on a set respawn timer, where as Armories/Garages would always spawn every (base variant) loadout weapon on a set respawn timer (ex. BR - 10-15 sec., DMR - 30-45 sec., SMG - 20-30 sec.). But, the middle objective, would spawn certain power weapons, again on set respawn timer (ex. Sniper - 50-60 sec., Rocket Launcher - 75-100 sec., Hydra - 40-50 sec., etc.). Players would spawn with Assault Rifles and Magnums, and controlling the bases (mostly) ensure weapons for your team. And also bosses could have the highest tier of power weapon they are using so the team that gets the boss kill first and retrieves the weapon will gain an advantage over the other team, and could allow for the team without the middle objective to possible capture the mid objective.
TL;DR Warzone with weapons that spawn at bases with no REQ spawning.
I was in that game it was really weird frustrating at the start where I believed but then I figured out it was happening to everyone and your right the game was quite fun
I don’t have this glitch happen, but sometimes in regular matches, I just decide to not use any reqs, just my loadout weapons.
When it happens to everyone in your game, it is enjoyable. I wouldn’t mind a wz game option like this.
Happened to me once last night in WZA, and it definitely made for a different experience. Somehow ONE guy on the opposite team was able to use reqs though so that wasn’t much fun after a while
A few months ago the same thing happened and I agree, it is fun and funny as you said trying to take down a legendary boss with AR and Magnums, it’s even worse with bosses with air vehicles.
