I feel like I do pretty okay in Warzone then when I go to Arena …I turn into a complete bot. Does anybody have any tips or should I just stay away from Arena? Also looking for some friends that play Halo.
They play very differently. In WZ, you can rely on your REQ packs to just overpower people. In Arena, it’s much faster-paced and you have to rely on your pistol and movement mechanics. Just get your aim down and learn how to move around the map. To do that, you have to keep playing.
As KayMrt said; they will feel vastly different because they have two different playstyles.
In one you get overpowered gear at will depending on how well you’re performing.
In the other, you’ll have people who generally play a fair bit more aggressively than the normal crowd of WZ. Arena generally consists of people who know most of the map spawns and weapon locations and they’ll make you pay for most mistakes.
In Arena, the best advice I can give as someone who doesn’t play much Arena but does play competitive in other games: turn up your game sound and keep your finger on the trigger.
Aeena attracts the better players, more of a competitive setting.
Warzone is competitive for some, but intended to be much more casual. So many RNG elements to it. Arena players are generally better than Warzone players, from my experience at the top of both in terms of competition.
Wz, Wz ff, arena and campaign all suit different playstyles. If you want to get better at arena play more are arena and stick to a particular map the quickplay social list keeps you on 3 maps it’s a really good mode for learning map control ect
