I’m sure I am not the only topic/post on this, but Pleeasse make Turbo into a permanent playlist. I can’t tell you how much fun and excitement has been had between me and friends, I think it could rejuvenate and elevate the overall game experience that honestly has become stale of late… Super fiesta seemed to work out fine and so would this list.
It’s been out a week plus and it’s already gotten “stale”. There’s nothing really fun about blowing through reqs getting 30+ kills on people with banshees and snipers. Not to mention they’re pretty one sided matches.

This ^^^
As a newer player to Halo 5 it’s super fun for the first two matches, till you run out of your high level reqs and get slaughtered by those that grinded out hundreds of high level reqs or shell out loads of money for Gold Reqs.
Having it once in a while is great, all the time not so much.

Disagree… So what if it’s not good for new players? So players who have been playing a long time with a lot of reqs shouldn’t get what is an awesome and fun playlist? Turbo is how warzone should be. It’s actually the most balanced since you have all of your weapons at your disposal. Regular warzone is way more one sided because it’s easier for one team to get head with stronger reqs since not everybody is at the same req level during the game.

Warzone is a mess as is, turbo just escalates it to a new level. It’s not really something any new player should be doing and that’s part of the issue. Why advocate it being the new big mode to halo but make it unfriendly to newer players? Especially when it’s pretty much taken over the spot of btb. It doesn’t need to be an issue for newer players regardless cause once a team is backed into a corner they’re most likely staying put the rest of the match, spamming reqs doesn’t get you out of being spawn killed or trapped into a base. That’s pretty much how turbo is, if you give any inch of ground to reqs, you’re most likely done.
We’ve got a long way to go until halo 6, i’m sure they’ll add it at some point, it would be a waste not to. Chaotic game modes are very needed after stressing in ranked.

I don’t mind being triple capped at all in turbo. I always have reqs to put up a defence. It’s not like snowballing in warzone where if I’m spawn camped I have to figure out how to kill 3 oni scorpions with level 2-4 reqs. Losing in turbo is way more fun than losing in regular warzone. Which is part of the reason I think they should just keep both teams at the same req level build and not reward a team doing well so that they can keep doing better and snowball.
In any case new players have a plethora of gametypes to choose from. Giving experienced players a req dump is Not a bad thing.

I don’t mind getting capped either, my issue isn’t losing in warzone but how unbalanced it is period. It’s not fun pushing people into a corner killing them repeatedly with air vehicles or snipers because of the reqs themselves being the issue. Even in turbo, once a team gets more reqs In play (generally by vehicles) the other team is getting knocked back, especially if they aren’t a team and that’s where those 1k-300 point games come into play. Turbo may be better on the snow balling, but it’s still bad regardless if it’s fun (ish for me).
none of the warzone modes are friendly to new players so their option is to either ignore it entirely or grind through the annoyances. If you lack reqs in FF, good luck killing bosses while team mates yell at you. If you lack reqs in OG warzone you’ll be using lvl2 reqs vs people with 5s and higher, in turbo you simply lack the numbers like I’d have (hundreds of just about everything). Warzones concept isn’t new player friendly if you weren’t there from launch and having other modes doesn’t fix that unless one gets made specifically for those who join later. Anything outside warzone would just double, maybe even triple the RP grind before they’ve got anything to use in there. My main point is for as big as 343 hype up warzone and what they’re wanting it to be, it needs to be more new player friendly and even just player friendly in general because it’s a mess. They’ve taken teams away (and I know you know that), they’ve changed req lvls various times because if snow ball issues and they’ve even changed req energy charging. It’s main issue is it still snow balls way to much.

I’ve wanted to see 343 try a variation in the req build for one warlords weekend. I don’t think it would be too hard because obviously they were able to tweak the build for turbo.
Just have both teams progress evenly in reqs for the entire game. Both hit level 2 at the same time. Both hit level 9 at the same time. But build at the same rate as the current warzone, maybe even slower.
They need to try this when teams are in play though. Punishing team players for developer mistakes needs to end.
I think everyone would be happy without the req snowball, well everyone except for the unfrig hunters.

I disagree, turbo matches you can flip the script and drop the game on its head and completely turn the tide in mere minutes, Ive been in matches that in regular warzone we would be out for the count, but came roaring at the end and pulled it off, also have been on the other side of that several times as well and had matches get away that seemingly were in hand

Something I really like about the mode is that it gives you an opportunity to hone in on aspects of your game that no other mode can. Example-say i wanted to work on my sniper skill, in turbo I can whip out those bad boys for the entire match from the very beginning and get to shape up, as well aas practice practice practice, and improve on that for the entire duration of the match if i chose to do so, same goes for vehicles as well. I cant tell you how bad i was (probably still am) with the gungoose in particular, and the wraith as well, and have the opportunity to pull them out and use to practice/improve with for the entire match as well, and the only mode that really offers that opportunity…yep you guessed it. TURBO
Once again, look how well the decision to make super fiesta a permanent mode has worked out. there is always a solid population playing it and I guarantee turbo would have no problem with keeping a population…

While yes, newer players are at a disadvantage in turbo I have played matches very well using only lv 3 random weapon/vehicle req, and those are not a tough commodity to come across, they are pretty loaded in most packs, silver in particular… i notice they stockpile up very quickly throughout playing a few matches
