Warzone Turbo Playlist

Im hoping that the warzone turbo playlist will stay as a permanent playlist. Anyone else agree that this should stay? If not, how long is it available for?

For me, I’m glad it’s rotational. It’s fun, but in short doses. I mean, if it was permanent, I guess I would just only play it once in a while.

At this point I sell a lot of my reqs to try and get more arena boosts. I’m going to miss the hcs events for all the legendary boosts received over those weekends.

Ive been at 152 for over a year now so I have quite the collection of reqs to use. Warzone Turbo allows me to plunge into them!

I don’t think it will become permanent since the pay-to-win argument is pretty solid for Turbo. WZ is borderline pay-to-win as it is and I don’t think 343i wants that negativity by making Turbo permanent.

I enjoy warzone turbo a lot more than regular warzone so I wouldn’t mind it being permanent. It gives me a chance to burn some of the reqs I never use otherwise

My guess is the popularity would drop a bit if it was permanent. I think part of the fun is building up your REQ collection while it’s away and then using them all when it returns.

I’ll admit it was definitely useful for finishing up phaeton Gunner commendation. I had a handful of kills left to finish it up and all I had were Helios. I don’t find regular warzone hits level 8 very often.

I actually never thought of that. I was wondering why they wouldn’t make Turbo permanent, since it causes people to burn through reqs which would, in theory, lead to more people purchasing packs, but you might have a point here.

That said, why not create Warzone Firefight Turbo? People would burn through reqs and the pay-to-win argument wouldn’t matter so much in PvE. And who cares if it isn’t challenging because there’s already Legendary and Mythic firefight for people who want it to be challenging. I bet lots of people would love to play a version of WZFF where they can splatter piles of grunts with a Temple Wraith on round 1. Something for 343 to consider…

You know, I’ve actually wondered the same thing as well. Firefight can drag on so much in the early rounds. This would satisfy both sides - players get to use better loadouts and REQs early on and MS/343i get more potential sales from packs.

Even a firefight that started at level 3. Reach’s arcadefight was not challenging at all and that was the main firefight mode that was played. Nobody played firefight limited, which was the far more challenging mode.
