Warzone Turbo Is A Sales Tatic

So you will buy more reqs. With all the heavy reqs you are using you are going to need to buy more so it benefits 343! I don’t have a problem with it but it’s not a coincidence that this came out while the new DLC will be coming out soon

I mean, that’s not a wrong assumption, but why can’t there just be a fun gametype that is fun? Maybe I’m just to optimistic or something.

Sure it is, just like every other warzone related thing they’ve added since launch.

Maybe. Is it still fun? You bet! The two aren’t mutually exclusive. Was making 8 Harry Potters a cash grab? Hell yeah. But they’re still fantastic.

I have a ton of REQ points, almost 2million now, I don’t see the correllation unless they released a REQ pack that gave heavy hitting REQ cards, which they did not.

Haha looks like i might have to stop selling my reqs and burn them in warzone turbo!!!
 At least i have a couple of warthogs!

I’ve been sitting on large amounts of high-ranking req cards for ages now because by the time I get ranked up enough to use them in normal warzone it feels like a waste of a card. Warzone turbo is a chance for me to finally use these awesome weapons/vehicles in a game with enough time left for me to actually enjoy them. Not to mention the ability to use DMRs from the start. This game type is 100% for me.

Are you yoinking serious? My god, 343 love their money, but they released it to have fun, as much as you may want to Belive, 343 does care for us a little bit. Why do you feel that them releasing a mode that lets you use the REQS you never get to, is a cash grab because it causes you to spend more money. People complain for the hell of complaining.

Well…yes and no. Yes, they made it more likely that you’ll burn your high level req cards and you’ll want to purchase req packs.
But no, they aren’t forcing you to do so in order to win. My plan is to jump on and pick up or hijack whatever somebody else got/req’d.
It’s gonna be hectic.

I think it’d be great if they made it a permanent playlist for these reasons. I save up big cards and never use them because once a team hits 850 points before Warden spawns, the match could end almost immediately. What would be really nice, is if when you used a req and the game ended, if you still had the weapon in hand or you were still driving/piloting the vehicle, you get it back into your reqs.

Great tactic, becuase when i played i couldn’t acess any of my reqs.

Halo Combat Evolved was a sales tactic to get you to buy an Xbox. Don’t see too many people complaining about that…

Well it is, but it really is just there as a way o use your high level reqs. I mean both of these reasons are probably true though

Is everything a conspiracy theory? Geez.

Sure, it can make people need to buy more REQs, but, it is… wait for it… optiona****l

If someone wants to play the game and buy REQs with money, what’s the problem? It’s their money
If someone wants to play the game and buy REQs with REQ Points, what’s the problem? They want to do it

It’s not like 343i is saying “The normal Warzone playlist will be replaced by Warzone Turbo”, if you don’t want to play it and spend money don’t do it, the same if you want to play it

Bet youre still going to play it

it would only be a sales tactic if they didn’t offer free RP for playing the game. People that buy reqs are just too impatient to earn them.

On top of it being optional, people have been asking for a mode like this since their first taste of Warzone. Its one of the more popular single-threads ive seen on waypoint, behind dedicated servers EU. This is something that, again, they actually listened to something we asked for. Take off the tin foil.

Honestly I get reqs faster than I can use them and I don’t spend anything on microtransactions.
Usually what keeps me from using more reqs is that I don’t die often enough, not that I don’t have enough points to use my reqs.

yeah maybe
