With watching the X games, I can’t help but imagine what competitive Warzone teams fighting each other would be like? The possibilities and combos are endless! Warthogs I imagine will get more play than ghost, crazy invis combos or speedboosts. Insane boss kills, warden kill stealing, etc.
Who he would love to see some competitive tournament Warzone?
This should definitely be done!
Or have a competitive option for warzone
That sounds like a pretty cool idea.
I can imagine a team of 12 all going camo and silenced infiltrating an enemy base, or a team spawning 6-8 banshee ultras in an attempt to push back the enemy team.
You usually only see teams of 12 dominating ransoms, but how different would it be if the best 12 Spartan fire teams were able to play against each other?
I want to see that. With the variety in Warzone, strategies, game plans, etc will all be different and unique and we will see weapons and vehicles we don’t get to see often. (For instance, warthogs more prevalent than tanks I would imagine)
I was going to create a topic about this. Really hope they incorporate this in the next major tournament. Heck, any tournament. Would be cool to see the top Warzone players battling it out.
I was actually think about this while watching the stream today. This would be really cool if 343i did something like this involving Warzone.
I would think competitive players would want a better boss system first.
Edit: I think there would also have to be a certain amount of every single use REQs for each ENTIRE team to use. Example, each team can only spawn 1 Nornfang in a match, no matter who uses it. Etc
It would depend on how they balance the REQ system. If you give both teams unlimited use it would just be team whiplashes which would of course be no fun.
I honestly doubt they could balance that out for tournament play. It’s inherently designed to be somewhat random by way of req packs.
They’d have to assign every local account an equal amount of the same kind of req, doing that should make it balanced enough.
Though, if you’ve seen when they tune into the audio from the team booths their chatter is super fast, non-stop and panic-y. 12 people doing that at once and nobody would understand eachother.
