Hi everyone, I am in desperate need of some tips when it comes to playing warzone. I have a lacklustre collection of REQs, since I use them recklessly (you could say REQlessly) and only get 1-2 kills with the vehicles/power weapons I spawn in. I usually do fine with loadout weapons, but I would very much appreciate some tips on managing my power weapons/vehicles and staying alive longer. Is this just bad luck?
Thank you all in advance.
When I get a weapon out that deals a good amount of damage, I tend to stay defensive around a base being attacked, since you’re more likely live longer as opposed to running out in the open towards the enemy base. That’s just me though, don’t know about anyone else.
Thanks for the tip man! I have had a few better games of warzone since starting to play more defensively. And one thing I’ve learned: don’t be afraid to get the big REQs out! They can be massively helpful to yourself and the team, and I have realised that even if I lose the weapon/vehicle instantly, there will be more packs and more chances to use them!
Stick around teammates, don’t chase, if I spawn the awnser I’ll play defense till I can spawn camo and then take the rest of the bases.
I agree with Xenomorph, I try to play more defense when I am using REQs. Running to a base with your brand new The Answer is an easy way to get picked off by an enemy who is playing defense himself. I found that each map lends itself to certain reqs. For example, I won’t really use a Saw on Noctus. Sight lines are just too long with too many opportunities to get popped in the open. I will break a Saw out on ARC because it’s much easier to get in range. Just my two cents.
Halowarzoneai.com and go for the boss kills is the best advice I can give. Try to steal boss kills every chance you can, meaning the ones on the enemies strong side of the map. Always remember, even the lowest boss is worth 25 Spartan kills on the scoreboard. So if you can steal the enemies and also kill the one one your strong side, that’s 50 kills.
Happy Haloing!
With some of the spawn issues I have experienced, I don’t always like to get a power weapon after I die. If I do, I will spawn back at my home base (as long as the enemy is not after the core) and go from there. Otherwise, I will spawn, go to a base, then pick up the weapon I want from a REQ station. Then like everyone else has mentioned, play a little more defensive, and of course, go after bosses
Since it appears when I use my REQ on a sweet power weapon my head become the world’s strongest magnet and every bullet that is shot hits me instantly. I tend to either spawn in my home base, or spawn first then open my REQ. Also, playing defense never hurts either.
Certain levels allow you level up to high REQs quickly too. I’m a big fan of getting a ghost in APEX and then running down the Elite Prime (I think) and his band of jackals. Sometimes I can get both in the level. Easy 50 points towards your team.

You probably get picked off pretty easy, me on the other hand will take the bases and win the game.

This.
Also pay attention to what your team mates and enemy Spartans leave lying on the ground when they die. Sometimes you find great things. The despawn time has also been adjusted so if you die in a base sometimes you can get your old weapon back.
sit back if you got something good
Each power weapon has a tactic and needs to be played as such. Some are better offensive while others as a defensive tactic. Ands as some stated, stick with teammates.
Thanks everybody, I appreciate your input
What I would do is Req in a energy sword or hammer and use upgrade shields and just run up and kill the enemy

This thread is quite old; please do tread carefully next time.
