WARZONE TIPS

I need some basic tips in Warzone.

I head in with a camo and energy sword to sweep up kills. Is that a good idea? Or should I try something else?

Also, when I have the prophet’s bane, I die almost immediately. Somebody please help me out!

For Prophets’ Bane, make sure you throw Advanced Sensors on. It will make it hard to find you plus you can walk with smart link on.

My main strategy is to to play a lot and have fun. Practice makes perfect.

If you’re going for straight up kills with that combo, you can use it to enter high traffic areas like the Fortress and cause chaos. Be sure to have an escape plan though. It’s also handy for picking off players when there’s a high point boss on the field like the Warden or Grunt Mech. People are usually so focused on the boss that they literally won’t see you coming

You should do whatever you think benefits your team at the moment; whether it’s defending a base, going after a boss, pestering the enemy from range, trying to cap an armory, taking out the enemy tank, etc.

The prophet’s bane is basically infinite camo. Stay crouched, use advanced sensors, go slow. Try to be aware of your surroundings. You want to pick people off when they are alone, do not take on groups. You should also avoid the most obvious hiding spots, people will look for you there. If you have another one hit kill weapon, you can extend the life on the bane by switching weapons for the kill than switching back for the camo. Whatever you do don’t do this.

You have to play smart with camo. After a couple kills in a base, people are gonna know you’re around and will start looking for you. With the Bane, you wanna move slow or else you’ll be easily spotted. Overall, It’s probably better to stay on the fringe of bases instead of actually in them.

You best option is going to be just playing the game. Don’t rush into combat. Be constantly vigilant of your surroundings. Remember, the clutter onscreen, the less people are paying attention. Veteran players (just anyone who has played FPSs a lot) will be better about this than others, but know that, just because no one is on your radar, doesn’t mean anyone is around. Try to play on the stealth side and get out of engagements where you don’t have the upper hand (i.e. sneak around to re-engage the enemy). Just get used to escapes and re-engaging enemies when you can get the drop on them. If you run around chasing kills, you’re going to become a bullet sponge or set yourself up for ninjas.

Try playing some firefight to get used to having multiple enemies engaging you at once, then move to warzone to try and engage enemies in smaller numbers (1-on-1 or 2/3-on-1 is preferable though). When in doubt, stick with some teammates and help cleanup kills.
