I got the idea for this from my puppy manual, it has a training test that I’m trying to get him to pass, basically the test is to tell him to stay and then start teasing him with tasty treats and see if he stays put. I changed a few things for the Warzone test, but the premise is basically the same, deviation from objective.
The Test: When an player spawns a Scout Warthog and drives in circles round and round outside of the base, garage, etc… Does your team all abandon the objective and chase the Warthog around and around the base while the enemy team captures or successfully defends it?
According to the (altered) manual: (My alterations in square brackets)
Pass “If your [team] passes this test, congratulations! You may now move on to advanced commands and tricks such as [resisting the impulse to individually charge into a hail of gunfire and meet a glorious death…”]
Fail However if your [team] does not pass, then you need to work more on communication and discipline, review sections 1 & 2 [deciding priorities and rewarding proper behaviour.]
Like I said, idea from the puppy manual and from my last Urban game where I jacked a Scout and someone else spawned one and for both the Garage and the Armoury captures we just circled with half the enemy team running around and firing at us… Just like my puppy does when I test him at staying put, minus the gunfire part. I felt quite bad for the other team, maybe two or three guys at a time would attempt to defend the armoury, others would just spawn in and start shooting at us.
