To be honest i just bought Halo 5 to tide me over till i got fallout 4. I had no idea warzone would hook me like it has done. The more I play it , the more i think about it and the potential it has. However, i do see the complaints from the hardcore traditional halo fans, we all heard them so i wont get into them. I would like to focus on possibilities of the game. I hear warzone referred to as the casual or social gamemode, but i think it can become the most hardcore mode there is, although not to all. For those willing to group up with 12 people all with mics and coordinatie strats, it could become even more fun than just playin socially. Granted, im not the first person to say that but the idea of finding a hardcore group who will be invested into the game as much as i want to be, is not something i expected coming into halo 5. Im the type of guy who played Age of Warring Empire on moblie and spent a thousand bucks building up my army, started my own clan and have wars that lasted 30 hours straight. It was the most hardcore i ever got with a game . Id spend hours working up battle plans and gathering intel. Why bother to tell you that? cause im feeling the same way about this game, although for differents reasons. Some view the microtransactions as an exploitation, but to me the means justifies the end. Meaning, if I want to pay more to have a deeper experience with the game i will gladly pay, or in this case invest a lot of time as well. Anyway, people who just do a fly by of this gamemode only see MICROTRANSACTIONS and how manys hours it would take to unlock everything or all my gear is from RNG and doesnt show what i did to earn them, case in point is Angry Joe. The fact is a guy like that plays halo for about a week to stream for view and a youtube review for likes. You see thats his big game, being a media outlet. However, for those of us that invest into warzone its like our house and Joe is merely a guest over for dinner who didnt like our 200 year old wine and couldnt understand why we bought it since it was expensive, when we could go to walgreens and get some cheap wine for 10 bucks. Then goes around tellin people there some thing wrong with us. Point is he lacks intrest and UNDERSTANDING in this game model and makes stupid judgements about based on his personal taste. I have high expectations for warzone so if your like minded as i am and already have a sparten company with room for one more shoot me an invite. Also, im writing this on the xbox one and it wont let me make paragraphs, srry.

actually the saying would probably be ‘whole other’, but hey who cares.
I don’t think it can be or needs to be considered competitive, but it is a blast when you’re on with a bunch of people and start strategizing on where you’re all going to go it’s a blast and a half. It’s a fun game type and I can’t wait to get on again with some friends and (attempt to) dominate, lol!

i disagree, its called WARzone, and ALL is FAIR in love and war , and just think of the game as a real war, whoever plays the best , pays the most and enough time invested into your war machine will win, its WAY more competitive on so many levels, its not just based on pure skill anymore.
Yes I like it!
Takes the edge off after arena lol.

What is this witchcraft?
I only played warzone lol
Warzone is easily my favorite gamemode within H5.
Warzone is great, but the weapons despawning is my biggest problem with it. Nothing like spawning in with a sniper only to be hit by a teammate because I spawn in the path of his ghost to get you to not like warzone.
Play assault, it’s basically BF’s rush mode, with only spartan and sparse marines and the BEST req to time ratio!
also, spartan kills will count towards coms, even losing games give 1k req, take a knee, or jsut focus on a com like assassinations/ ground pounds lol.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but can’t you only have 4 in a fire team? Making a 12 man team with mics hard to accomplish?
