Though I strongly dislike the game mode in general, I believe Warzone would be much more fun if you could see where your friends were (do not make this possible by adding a 3rd color to the radar!). Show friends’ Spartan ID’s over their heads in a bright neon color or something.
Not knowing where your friends are, or what they’re doing, makes Warzone all the more off-putting IMO.
Edit: Also, the opening cutscenes HAVE to go. I played a grand total of 4 Warzone matches at my friend’s house. By the 3rd time I’d seen those cutscenes (and parkinson’s’d my way off the Pelican), I wanted to cry knowing I’d have to see that crap every single -Yoinking!- time I played Warzone in the future. The cutscenes must go*.*

Not a bad idea! Perhaps they could add some kind of way to highlight Spartan Company members in your game? without it being overkill on the HUD.

I checked it out. Unfortunately, I can’t say I’ve ever been a fan of PvE game-types. Still, having said that, I do think that’s the only way Warzone could excel. I think if Warzone was used to build upon and expand Halo’s previous PvE experiences (like Firefight/Spartan Ops), rather than combining the aforementioned with PvP, it could be a big hit with everyone who does enjoy PvE modes. in it’s current form (as much of a PvP as it is PvE), I just don’t see a bright future.
TLDR - I don’t personally care about PvE modes, but I think your ideas are great for all those out their who do.

Sure, that’d be fine as well. In order for it to be successful in its current form, it’s going to have to be able to feel like a genuine team oriented PvP mode first, and then a PvE mode second. The inability to know the whereabouts, of those with whom you are chatting, just totally isolates everyone, making for (IMO) a brutally boring and monotonous experience.
I personally think the main flaw is the distribution of points. Legendary bosses should be dummed down to 100, regular bosses should be raised to 50 (excluding hunters since each one is 25) It just makes the possibility of close games more reoccuring

everyone has there opinion. I do think it would be great for those who may not be the best at PvP warzone, some what like me, and it would be a fun place to mess with buddies, just killing AI, no worry of players killing you and stuff. 343 could really expand the AI into places that could make it really interesting with a game type like this.

Absolutely. I totally agree. I said from the day it was officially announced, Warzone WAS Firefight. It IS Firefight. I think your suggestion was planned to be added into this game since before any of us ever knew “Warzone” was a thing, but they couldn’t do their classic 343 marketing sorcery with “just” a bigger and better PvE mode…so they slopped PvP in there with it and called it “amazing” “new”…you get the picture.
This would be a great addition to Warzone.
I always try to meet up with my team to be the most effective and it is currently difficult to see where they are.
Even the different colored blip on the radar would be nice to know that someone in your group is around you.

Agree 100%

No…Please No! The radars are already awful as is. Let’s not add mass confusion to the list of problems for the radars. I beg you.
The least they could do is allow you to see their tag at all times instead of it disappearing at a certain distance which is really annoying sometimes…

Well said. That’s actually all I was trying to suggest they do.
Added this additional suggestion to the OP

This is what Warzone is missing. I was playing with a few buddies the other day and was constantly asking where they were or where did they spawn. Highlighting your fireteam on the radar is a must!!!

The radar see’s only 25m out from you. Radar highlighting would ultimately do nothing but confuse and clutter. This thread does not condone, much less advocate -Yoinking!- the game up. See the OP. If you disagree, fine, go create your own thread.
