Not sure about you guys but fighting Warden Eternal over and over gets kind of repetitive. I think it’d be cool as they make new Warzone maps, make new bosses. For example I really enjoyed fighting scarabs in the older Halo games, seeing one of them as a final boss would be amazing in Warzone. They would have to make a big enough map for it but in the end it’d be so worth it. If you remember in Halo 3 where the Scarabs dropped from the sky, imagine a final boss being a scarab that drops down and both blue and red team fighting to destroy it, IT’D BE AMAZING! It is a shame there was no Scarab to fight in the campaign but having different bosses in Warzone will definitely change things up. If you’d like to see 343 make a Warzone map that has a Scarab as a final boss please leave a comment, we need to see things like this happen so that we don’t fight Warden Eternal in every single Warzone map because it honestly does get repetitive.
scarab would be easy peasy to destroy though. they’d have to make some new mechanic so that taking down the scarab doesn’t involve simply unloading a bunch of clips into some unusually weak spot of worms.

It wouldn’t be easy because they’d give it a ton of health like they do for Warden Eternal and every other boss they have in Warzone.
If the scarab tank ends up being anything like the Halo 3 one the spartans would just have to pump clips into the rear. Just standing there. It’d be more tedious than anything. Or it’d be a nice gift to an enemy spartan with a rocket launcher
that would be nice!

I think a scarab boss would be awesome.
I can already imagine the epic battles taking place in/on/around the scarab!!
+1 for you sir

No the only way to kill it would be to shoot it till it’s dead and it’d have a lot of health.
would love seeing groups of Spartans make that thing kneel then the epic struggle of fighting off the enemy team to get the kill instead of someone randomly getting the last shot.
hah this would be awesome
Sounds really cool
Yeah, I would love the return of the Scarabs. 343 could make it warzone material too, for example: a Sword Scarab. Red and with extra armor. When the Scarab falls and both teams jump on it to destroy the core, there will be a war. Have Zelots, Grunts, Jackels, Blue Team, and Red Team on one machine. Spartans being shot off while trying to destroy the core, Banshees attempting to shoot the rear off, Rockets taking the legs off, the OP AIs shooting the Spartans while they are trying to take out the legs/core, and the Scarab itself targeting vehicles with it’s OP gun. That would make Warzone actually enjoyable. Screw the Warden. Great idea, Bruh.
Honestly, I just want ANY type of new boss. I’m not bored of Warzone or anything, but variety is always good.
People keep talking about a Scarab boss, but I can’t see how that would work. Scarab is too big for the maps we have. Would we need to board it?
One boss I think would be both viable and fun would be a Phantom. It would be constantly unloading Covenants to annoy ground units and force people to use vehicles.
I think it would be cool if they did four tough hunters (tougher than what they have now) and have each be worth 40 points or something. Having more than one final boss would make things more interesting.

This would be a good option. What about having the Phantom drop some hardcore Elites with swords or Brutes with hammers?
The only way I can see them doing this would be if they used a Kraken instead. They obviously haven’t designed or even programmed scarabs into halo 5, and doing so at this point would require too many resources and time to be able to pull off efficiently. A kraken can be recycled from the campaign, making it easier to put in- and it’s basically the same idea as a scarab anyway.

this would be nice also but that would be even more large scale that a scarab by like x5
I’d like to see new bosses! Especially with the new Warzone Firefight coming down the pipe!
I know the point of this is to have a massive enemy to fight, but what if they made a somewhat smaller Scarab? One that could actually fit on map?

That’s why the map would have to be built to support the size of the Kraken. You’d need a gaping hole somewhere, either the diameter of the central monument area on Battle of Noctus, or a lookout type area like where Warden spawns on Escape from ARC.
