Warzone Sandbagging Victories?

I’ve found that recently, anytime I join a game of Warzone, I’m always put on a losing team at a point where it is difficult to recover the win or a team that has very little hopes of winning. I understand that when people leave the game, players re needed to fill the extra slots, but ever since I reached level 110 its happened for every game of Warzone I’ve joined. I’ve even taken my search preference from “Focused” to “Balanced” but this doesn’t resolve the issue. I’ve found that it makes winning a game of Warzone almost impossible as the point in time that i enter, the team i join is pushing level 3 reqs and is being trapped in one base, or even making a pitiful core defense against level 6 and above reqs. Is anyone else experiencing this issue?

Every single time without exception my first game of the day I will be put on the lessor skilled team. Even when starting the day with new match. It also typically is against a team of onyx level players. I can count on my first match losing like 400- 1000 or worse. Guaranteed. I’m almost better off getting into the game, then going to find a place at the back of the base TTK the controller and come back in 15 or 20 minutes. Its that bad.

All I need is level 3 REQs to start killing Spartans. Kill smartly and not by blindly running out and getting killed. Doing this just gives the enemy more REQs. Get to level 4 REQs and and start spawning active camos, H2BR, and start wrecking havoc. Kill the enemy’s top vehicles or sneak around to the farthest armory.

By the time you get killed, you have regained your REQs or leveled up to 5. Spawn another Camo, or spawn a Whiplash/Arclight. Kill 4 or 5 Spartans. Rinse and repeat. Maybe your teammates won’t follow suit, but sometimes you are going to lose in Warzone. I had 200 wins and 205 losses in Warzone before I started figuring out which tactics started to work.

I have had games where my team was Triple Capped as soon as I spawned, and have worked my way around the map to cap an armory, and led my team to Victory. One person can make a difference in a Warzone game if they are good enough.

It happens to all of us. I usually just aim at disruption rather than a win when it does. I may not be able to snag victory from the jaws of defeat, but I can make those -Yoinks!- cuss me after the match.

Every time I have tried to cap a base in a triple cap situation I get triple teamed. MY first match on Saturday My team had 4 onyx level players , me (a platinum), and the rest were silvers. We got matched against 2 CHAMPiON level players and 4 onyx players, one diamond and a couple of platinums. So basically we were matched against a team with twice as much skill in total as us. We got destroyed. 11 players quit in total before it was over. They took the bases and then just slaughtered anybody that spawned. I saw what was happening and hid. They were not a company, but they played like one. Unless you are an onyx level or above you would not have survived that either. And if you can I want you on my team.I’ll ad you as a friend.

By the time you get Triple Capped and know you are going to lose, you are probably REQ level 3. As comedyshermit said, you should aim to just piss the enemy team off at that point, rather than trying to seriously win the game. Spawn a shotgun and wait for them to come through the core doors. If they don’t come through the core doors, then they are likely farming you with vehicles. Better to wait it out in the Home Core than to oblige the enemy with stat-padding.

And then, you can just wait for someone like myself to get spawned in. I’m high Onyx, and I have had games where a farming team just gets really angry when I start Perfecting them when they have Snipers and Power Weapons, and destroying their Hannibal Tanks and Mechs.

Or you can join my Warzone lobby. I play with a few Onyx and Champion level players, but the majority of us range from Gold/Silver/Platinum/Diamond level and rely on teamwork/communication and strategy more than skill.

Lol yeah team didn’t get tripled capped but I pissed the enemy team off ally when we were losing. I spawned arc lights and got around 12 kills with that before using a sniper and killing a guy with oath sworn. I picked it up for some more kills with the sniper before getting sniped myself. Then I spawned a bayonet and camo killing all enemy snipers plus killing most of the enemy team that had power weapons😂

If I’m losing the game I just focus on being stealthy and if the amount of points is too much to come back from I just focus on getting kills.

My last game I lost was so fun I managed to snipe a couple bosses and steal a couple banshees and some ghosts while while they where trying to go for the core or farm.

Every first few games I play of the day I’m put in a losing teams game. Another reason I’ve come to hate warzone. I lose those matches however hard I try to keep the team up and running.

I try new tactics, everything I can think of. Leaving the base with an active camo. I just come out and get shot and killed even when I shouldn’t even be seen. It’s ridiculous.
