So I started playing Halo since Christmas, haven’t started playing seriously since last month. I was getting dominated in Warzone with people having modded weapons, armor mods and a ton of good stuff I didn’t have. So I thought the Warzone REQ pack sounded perfect for my situation. (I’m not the type of person who pays to win, I was seriously getting wrecked with barely any REQ points incoming each game).
I got legendaries just like it promised… Boost legendaries… maybe a few rare armor and helmet pieces. Upgraded REQ weapons. Got maybe 2 modded weapons and an armor mod. I think that was my last one too. I’ve completed all of the Bronze packs and I have most Rares. I didn’t buy the Warzone REQ until I had gotten rid of all the junk REQs so I didn’t waste my money. But it didn’t help cause I haven unlocked a lot more important REQs from Silver.
I have 2 legendary skins for the DMR! But I don’t even have the damn DMR unlocked yet! It’s a Rare and it’s going to be the last Rare item I get if I haven’t gotten it by now cause I’m nearly done with rares.
Anyone else have better luck? I don’t want to completely shun the Warzone REQs if I’m just the unlucky one.
I mean, I never bought a single REQ pack, I just unlocked mine through points. I don’t have much in the way of loadout customization, just a BR and an SMG, but I do have a lot of different Power Weapons. Idk, I think it’s just random.

I didn’t have a lot of the good stuff, like the rare SAW with explosive warheads… that thing is insane. Or the Railguns. I was ill-equipped.
When I bought it back then, I knew it was just a way to get a couple of really good req.s. Looking back at it now, I think I wasted my money since we all can get everything by winning packs to unlock.
I waited until I finished my silver packs to buy mine. Have all been really good packs with nothing but ultra rares and legendary in every pack. Todays packs gave me Sentinel DMR base model, and long barrel version. Recon DMR with long barrel. Projection SMG with bayonet. Ehh Arr skin. And and ultra rare armor.
If you’re opening those as you progress early on, it will simply help you fill out the lower level stuff as you go. It won’t help you skip straight to the high level stuff. So stick with the bronze-silver-gold progression until you’ve filled out the rares.

This ^^^^ I received the Warzone Req Pack as part of the limited edition game and after opening the first 6 packs and being underwhelmed I saved the last 8 packs. I read about the progression method so I’ve done this and now I’m done with all but ultra rare and above. Now those 8 remaining Warzone packs should be more impressive upon opening.
