I’ve got into this trouble multiple times today.
In Warzone, no one could use any reqs.
You can see the req list, but no matter which one you choose, it just do not work.
Everybody is forced to use the basic AR and Pistol, and some weapon from AI, to fight through the whole game.
Totally a disaster…
I’m here to post he same complaint, that and. The system seems to keep refunding me my req boosts because we are loosing or because the system knows it’s bugged, regardless it’s a real problem. I only have a few hours to play this weekend and I’m not thrilled the game is screwing up.
This is a persisting problem. Probably over a year old. Not sure when it will be fixed, though it is nice sometimes to just go the whole game with the pistol and AR, as everyone is equal.
Same story here playing Warzone Firefight. Pretty much a write-off after round three, trying to take on large enemies with pistols and automatics.
Beyond disappointing they can’t correct a known problem after so much time.

Have a try at the following general troubleshooting shooting steps:
- Complete a cold reset of your Xbox One by holding down the power button for 10 seconds to clear the game cache. - Reset Alternate MAC Address in system network settings on your Xbox to improve the general responsiveness of Halo 5.The second one above almost always works for me. If they don’t work, then it is most likely a temporary problem with the servers (or at least temporarily worse than they normally are).
How does 343 get away with charging people for something they can’t use? Then you punish us for leaving the match because we don’t want to use a magnum and a AR the whole match. This problem has happened to me constantly all weekend long. I either can see the reqs or it says retrieving data. Don’t Tell me it’s my internet because it’s not. I have problems with NO other game I own. RIDICULOUS.
Just finished a match in warzone,my team unable to use reqs but the other team had no problems!!! WTF??

Typical weekend. Everyone goes home, the system fails, nothing posted on official channels, and it’s not corrected until Monday.
Still not working for me either.
I just had the same problem. We lost on round 3 of warzone firefight because no one could purchase any REQs. Can you guys please find some way to eliminate the problem. I don’t even get refunded the REQ XP or RP boosts when it happens.
Just did a hard reset on my console and then reset my alternate mac address.went into warzone and got through two games with everything back to normal,no probems at all.had all reqs working fine.third game started with reqs 1 and 2 unavailable but everything was available from req 3 onwards.its getting better but i have had ridiculous amount of XP boosts not giving me anything at all.
I just had a game, where I could not use REQ’s until level 9. Very frustrating!

Boosts get returned after a few matches if they are not used
This problem seems to randomly crop up every so often. I think it started around April 2016, with the Warzone Firefight Beta (could be wrong).
Sucks, was gonna hop on for some games. Might still do so.

That’s true, if nothing else, look for the positives 
a lot of people are too used to using the BR exclusively, and fall short when it comes to Magnum duels.

Absolutely,plus i think most people underestimate the stopping power of the magnum.i’m still new to halo 5 pvp ( i despise the word noob ) so im having fun experimenting with all of the shiny toys.
Same issue happened to me today; glad to know I’m not alone. First warzone firefight match had reqs show up, but selecting or trying to use them did nothing, game just sorta “pretended” I hadn’t selected them and gave me standard AR magnum.
Second FF match reqs didn’t even show up. Even up to the final round (thankfully teammates could use reqs so we managed a clutch victory with 15 seconds to spare) I was stuck with a perpetual “retrieving data” issue and couldn’t fight warden with anything other than magnum and AR. Really sad I couldn’t help out my team more 
I can’t believe how long this has been going on and still not fixed. This is basic to the game.
