warzone power weapons

Does anybody know the difference between power weapons on halo 5? I checked the reqs and there are like 3-4 different variants of the same weapons and vehicles and im just curious on if there are any changes, like for example an oni scorpion and a default scorpion. Is it a reskin or is there an actual difference like damage or something.

Not sure. They did a poor job explaining war zone in general.

The oni hog has explosive bullets I believe. It is insane.

Yeah it also doesnt overheat which is amazingly strong

They could have the what it does more apparent but the varians tend to be op versions of the base.

There are different variants of weapons and vehicles you can earn from request packs, but are only available for warzone. Each one is a variation of a weapon or vehicle, such as a saw, and a saw that fires explosive rounds.

if you highlight a certain req(moving the selector over it but not pressing a to use it), it tells you exactly what is different about it below the card.

The short answer is both that they are reskins AND that they are different. They behave, fundementally, like their standard counterparts but have some basic improvements in certain areas that make them better. A standard Warthog has room for 3 players: a driver, passenger, and turret operator. It has a basic chaingun turret. The ONI warthog has an improved chaingun that fires explosive rounds, and is more durable overall. Because the ONI warthog is more powerful, it requires more REQ energy to be expended to bring it in.

Once you unlock the card, it shows a description of just how they are different from their basic versions.
