The way points are currently distributed is unacceptable.
Damage done to a boss is unrewarded. (sometimes minimally) The only thing that counts is the kill. This causes people to not use their ammo on bosses and just wait around to snag the kill at the last second. This drastically slows the game down and calls for some bad gameplay. It is also completely unfair to the individuals that do the majority of the damage. (especially if the other team puts a single shot in and snags it)
In addition, too many points are granted for a kill. One kill on the warden and the win is locked. When I play a game, I tend to care about coordination, strategy, and skill. I don’t want to roll some dice to determine a win. It also take a huge emphasis on map control away.
- Divide the points by damage done (both team and individual) - Smaller bonus for the kill - Slightly less points for bosses in general.
