I love this game and the concept of the REQ system/Warzone but I’ve played too many WZ games where the other team is led by a group of 6 people who finish 50 kills and 6 deaths and my teammates are a bunch of grade school children who finish 1 kill and 29 deaths while breathing into their mic and their mom is yelling at them to come eat a sandwich. It seems like WZ has no balance when it comes to forming teams, its a complete blowout 90% of the time (i.e. 1000-241 scores). Fair and competitive teams are a very rare occurrence it seems. My question is, has there been any discussions or ideas lately on any tweaks to matchmaking/WZ to fix this? I am brand new to the forums but doing a quick search gave me the impression that the thinking is “this is how it’s been, this is how it always will be”. Has there been any thoughts about a non-fireteam playlist? That way if it is a blowout, it will be due to happenstance and not because of a group that is playing for the sole purpose of farming the other team. Or matchmaking with Spartan Rank cutoffs(i.e. Rank 152-120 playlist, 119-90 playlist, etc.) so that you know you are playing with players who are in your own ballpark?
Again, I love this game but I only have 2 to 3 hours of gaming time a week and its aggravating to play every single consecutive game following the pattern of capture armory, get locked out of garage/spire/monument, lose armory, fall back to base, ending with the team getting farmed in the core room. If I know from experience that that is how the game will play out, what is the point of playing? Anyways, just thought I would rant on here to see if there is any hope on the horizon for a possible change before I have to go looking for a new game to occupy my free time.
