a new warzone mode where all 24 players work together against AI. Its all out destruction and the Offense n Defense are random. So either the players will be playing either ALL OFFENCE or ALL DEFENSE. But you won’t know til game starts, just like Warzone Assault. Both main red n blue bases are occupied. one by Spartans, one by enemy Covies/Prometheans. there is no recapturing for defensive side if offensive side conquers a base.
Defense mode: If Spartans are on defense, you have to hold all 3 bases or else you have to fall back to your bases core. in order to make it difficult the spartans will be separated into 3 groups, 1 per base. so 8 Spartans per base. there is no countdown timer to new wave but rather a continuous wave assault. so every time you kill a grunt or crawler, another one spawns in, and over time more spawn so that it becomes 2 grunts than 3 grunts. heavier weapons start getting used, so plasma pistol, than needler, than fuel rod etc. and than the enemy start upgrading. crawlers n grunt/jackals become soldiers and elites, than knights n hunters. if a base is lost, the 8 players will be divided into 4 each and sent to the other 2 bases still standing. if its 1 base left thats where all spartans will spawn. for some difficulty, the spartans will have longer spawn time for last base, maybe 2x the spawn count timer. if all 3 bases are lost you must fall back to core base. if they destroy the core you lose. to make it more difficult, the enemy will start spawning in bosses, it will start low key stuff like like ghost bosses n knights n hunters and build up to wraiths and eventually warden will come in and spawn. to add difficulty for last base so it isn’t easy to defend, you only get 1 life. so if all 3 bases are lost and you have to fall back to core base than you only get 1 respawn. after than you are out. you win if you out run the clock. you lose if the enemy kills all spartans or destroys the core.
Offense mode: You must recapture all bases. you start out at your core base, no need to capture it, it will already be under your control. from there you must retake all bases. but the enemy at each base will continuously spawn near by and assault you to stop you from capturing and will slowly get stronger. if you manage to retake all 3 bases than you must capture enemy core base. but bosses will be waiting, including warden eternal. You win if you destroy the core, you lose if time runs out. also it would be best to work together and capture 1 base at a time, it might be slower but if you spread out it will be harder.
we could just go with Defense mode only, if only 1 mode can be done. but would be even more fun if it was integrated even more into 1 mode of offense and defense all together where both players n enemy bots both start at core bases and must capture all 3 bases, who ever captures 2 or more has to play defense, if they lose the objective bases they must fall back and can’t recapture and have to spawn back at core base n fight warden eternal with 1 life, if spartans win than they can push forward and recapture bases until the get all 3, enemy bots can’t take the bases if you capture it. than if you push them back to their base you get 1 life again n have to fight warden and destroy core with enemy bots inside, if all spartans die than they fall back and play defense again and bots get to be offense again. a while tug-o-war match that would be so epic. game will end if time runs out. if you fail to destroy core before time runs out, you lose. i just hope they can get ai to more forward and stuff to take bases.
