warzone or warzone assault? whats your preference?

im just wondering for the warzone lovers here, which one do your prefer? i’ve played both and i like them but i prefer regular warzone over the assault one. Better chance to use your req’s and etc.

whats your take?

I don’t care much for assault… Now if it were a little more balanced like each team had a chance to attack and defend hell yeah it’d be fun but as it stands unless you spawn on the defending side you don’t really have much of a chance to take 2 bases and a core with a bunch of randoms it ends up being just a guaranteed loss…

Honestly, I just use warzone assault to warm up since there is no social playlists. I sell most the stuff I get from req packs.

I prefer Assault over regular Warzone just because it feels more fast paced. Granted, I have not played much of it since the glitch was being used more frequently in the game and took the fun away, but I plan on playing it again once the new update comes out.

I don’t care for Assault. As someone else stated is biased. I would prefer alternating offense/defense.

Warzone Assault It’s like Invasion from Reach except all of the fun elements are discarded.
Warzone is basically a giant BTB with bullet-sponge AI bosses that get stolen so your efforts are always useless.
Can’t say I really like either of them too much, but they can be fun with the right people. I have a preference for Assault.

i noticed this the first time i played warzone assult. my first game i was on the defending team and the game ended in 6 minutes and im sitting here like “thats it?” id figure the game would have been longer than that though.

Assault is my preference currently, but that would change if we could get some variety in NPC spawns instead of predictable patterns in normal Assault

I’ve played Warzone assault more than anything in this game, I love it.

i prefer Warzone Assault it tends to be shorter and i get about the same RP

don’t like war zone assault because of 1) the bug 2 ) recycled maps which don’t really play too well

Assault is kind of dumb. If an attacker gets a Ghost or a Warthog, they win.

If I’m playing with a team, Warzone Assault is usually more fun. If I’m playing by myself, regular Warzone is usually more fun.

I prefer Warzone by a longshot especially since it has the AI and AI boss battles.

Neither both game types are extremely boring to me. I tried to get into it but just found that I would have more fun bouncing my head of a block wall.

Definitely prefer Warzone over Assault but I think both need some tweaks to make them even better.

WZ

  • Random bosses

  • If team A doesnt have a single location while team B has all 3, if A doesnt capture a point within 6 minutes game ends with team B winning at current score.A

  • Shorten the respawn times for offense, at least 1 second. Assault matches can go real fast, so being able to play the most is nice
    If anyone else has ideas, please add them. Might as well have a nice sized list since 343 has shown they are willing to make adjustments.

it would be nice to adjust the req level needed for some of the weapons. for example, the dmr is too high req lvl to use while some others are not high enough.

Assault, regular Warzone only rewards people that camp the boss kills.
