Anyone else think that Warzone needs to be more random?
What i mean by this is instead of it all been scripted like a certain boss will spawn at a certain time, any boss could spawn at any time (for e.g… Warden Eternal is the first boss to spawn) And random A.I spawns, like Covenant and Prometheans will randomly spawn and roam the map.
I personally think if 343 adds this randomness to Warzone it will make it a lot more fun, and a lot less repetitive.
I don’t think bosses should be random that way. I want them to add a randomness to Warzone bosses but I think it should be a random selection from a boss pool and at random locations with set times. Then groups know when bosses will spawn but not where. Now your method still has a place in the idea my friends and I thought of. Our idea was to have waves of Covenant, Promethean, or Marine AIs just randomly spawn to interfere with players and be able to take back bases.
There should be tiers of bosses. For example, the first third of the match should have certain bosses that can spawn anywhere and at any time within the first third of the match. The second should have its own, and the third should have its own. At the same time there should be more AI, that don’t give you points like bosses, but are there to help fill out the map and drop weapons so its not as repetitive. Things like Plasma Pistols, Plasma Rifles, Carbines, Light Rifles, Suppressors, and Bolt Shots should stay as REQ cards, but also drop from AI around the map, and these enemies should spawn in a manner that more closely resembles traditional Firefight. There should always be AI on the map. I also think that the Marine AI in enemy bases should carry DMRs instead of ARs so that the DMR can be a little more common in play.
Definitely, these matches remind me more and more of destiny strikes.

Ok yeah, instead of random times have bosses spawn at certain times but it will be in a random location and it’ll be a random boss, i really like that idea.
Agreed, a random aspect would be great. Though it’s good having warden later on because there’s a sense of urgency to turn the tide of the game.
what it needs is to limit req use to 3 per person per match. And of the 3 only allow 1 from level 6 or higher. TitanFall does it similar to that and it works out well.

Completely agree but not completely random, they need to ensure both teams have a balanced access to them. Location wise I think keeping the spawns within a fixed area (not completely fixed to 1 spot) is good, timing wise is the issue. Instead of complete randomness, make the timer variable within 1 minute, spawning up to 30 seconds early or up to 30 seconds late relative to the current time spawn. I was saying just after launch, it’s going to turn into a camping game at spawns to win. Take away the health bar to make it harder to snipe boss kills and we’re looking at a much better version of Warzone.

The bosses are fine they way they are. Though, random bosses would be fun. I also think some random Covenant or Prometheans should spawn around the map for sure. That would help keep some of the empty areas, a little more active. Overall Warzone is really dang good the way it is for sure. More maps will help a lot too.
Variable bosses would be great.

Definitely needs to be more random. Getting teal tired of being in the lead the entire match and losing because someone on rhe other team Yoinks Warden Eternal.

Please make this happen already. Make it be put towards only REQ levels and not overall score or something just put squads of grunts, jackals, elites, and more around the area like Titanfall. These maps are huge and sometimes there is no fighting for a good few minutes because there’s no point in attacking an area with such high defense cough fortress cough but with enemies scattered around the loosing team can bring their REQ levels up and spawn more powerful weapons to cripple the enemy. We especially need to see this on Apex 7 and Stormbreak and the bases are a mile apart from each other. ARC isn’t too bad unless you spawn at the home base.
Hell put a couple groups of marines around the armories that change teams depending on who holds it. Let them patrol the area, try to kill some grunts or alert you of incoming danger
Spawning different bosses with different vulnerabilities would keep players from REQ’ing those predictable weopans/vehicles every game. It looks like Black Friday at Walmart whenever Warden Eternal is announced with a convoy of tanks headed to front of Spire.
On another point, I would apply a mild REQ level delay or slight earning penalty in the next game if you quit out the previous match.
I would also like to see some REQ level credit given to things like base saves when an enemy is taking it over. I think the kid that focuses on every boss to the exclusion of team success gets every toy while I’m debating which speed boost I should get next.
Having the bosses be random would be fun and crazy. Imagine Warden Eternal spawning in the fortress at the beginning instead of Commander Lochagos.
I really like the idea of a random boss spawning at a random spot at a set time. Also, making the bosses a little more difficult to kill would be nice. I don’t mean give them a million hit points but have them spawn with more AI that is extremely aggressive, have the boss spawn in a tighter area so you have to get a little up close and personal, or each boss have a certain weapon they are strong or weak against like lasers, rockets, railguns. Most people now know the bosses really well and just pull out a good rec weapon to deal with them quickly. Randomizing it would make you sacrifice precious time for a good rec weapon.
hmm although a neat idea I think practically it would cause many problems such as bugs, unfair spawns etc.
At this point I’ve memorized the time at which bosses spawn and just put myself in a position where I can insta-kill them. People on the other team might hear “Elite Ultra at the- …Enemy eliminated the Elite Ultra.”
I don’t know about totally random. the difficulty of the bosses should progress along with your reqs somehow, maybe, but it seems to me that having to clear Eternal with just ARs and Magnums wouldn’t be the best gameplay experience ever.
