The problem is not the speed of the req energy regeneration but the fact that AI are bullet sponges and so you need ONE req for ONE AI.
Even the SPNKR Prime can’t kill a knight boss …
The solution is to use vehicules (tank, gausshog) because infinite ammo 
the pepere, well is the same thing, im talking about all REQS in general, and when you choose a tank or any vehicle, you get hijacked faster than getting your REQ ENERGY back.
I personally think it is at a comfortable speed. Any faster and it would regenerate too fast and you could spawn a scorpion or sniper every life assuming you survive for at least a bit. I think a good idea would be for the lower levels to regenerate faster and as the level goes up, so does the wait. This would make it so that it still takes a long time for you to get a scorpion but you can get a ghost every life or so.

I agree but only for warzone ff
Not regular Warzone, but definitely for Warzone Firefight. makes the power weapon reqs viable if the energy instantly recharges.

I like this idea, maybe the first 5 req levels can be adjusted to regen faster and after that it can be normal speed.
